ABANDONED. PNR with a gang of shifters who can't shift because they are cursed. Possible Spoilers

I’m trying to remember the name of a recent paranormal shifter book where a gang? MC? of shifters have been cursed by witches because of their bad behavior. They can’t shift to their animal form and because of this they are getting weaker and wasting away.

One of the shifters finds a woman hiding in the club’s shed and sneaks her into his room in the club to take care of her. I think his mom is associated with the club and cooks food for the woman.

The woman is actually one of several who had been held captive for some reason and she has a photo of the other women to are still in trouble.

I believe this book is the first of a series and I want to read more of the series if they have been written but I can’t remember the title!

Luann, what type of shifters are they? Can you eliminate some animals (e.g., not dragon)? Is this a recent or ancient curse?

Location - country, region, big city/small town, fantasy world (not Earth)?

Hi Kris, sure! The setting is in a moderate-sized city in the US in modern time and they are not dragon shifters. I can't remember if they are all wolf shifters or not but this is most likely. It's a recent curse and only the current generation is being affected. I remember that all the members of the gang's fathers were also in the gang and they grew up in this life.

Basically, a gang member gets a woman pregnant and when she has the baby she can either stay with the gang and submit to whatever they want from her, or she can leave...but she can't take the baby. This is how the gang keeps its numbers up but stays free from personal ties or softer emotions (they think this weakens them). The only woman who has ever stayed with the gang is the H's mother. They treat women poorly and have very little honor and it is for this reason that they are cursed.

It isn't until after the H meets the h and learns about caring and love that the curse is lifted from him. He gets his strength back but the other members of the gang are still weakened. They see the picture the h has of the other girls being held captive and one or two of the gang members recognizes one of the girls in the photo as his mate.
