I’m reading Promise, Texas by Debbie Macomber. It’s a sweet little paperback that I found in a little free library. On the Kindle app I’m reading Anna’s Courage. Love them both.

AlegnaB † (alegnab) | 982 comments I mostly stuck to my plans I wrote about in message 27. I finished Take One (Above the Line, #1) by Karen Kingsbury but didn't enjoy it as much as previous Baxter family books, so I haven't yet started the next book in the series like I had planned. The books I hadn't planned to read but did are The Covenant (Abram's Daughters #1) by Beverly Lewis , The Betrayal (Abram's Daughters, #2) by Beverly Lewis , The Sacrifice (Abram's Daughters, #3) by Beverly Lewis , The Prodigal (Abram's Daughters, #4) by Beverly Lewis , The Revelation (Abram's Daughters, #5) by Beverly Lewis , To Wager Her Heart (Belle Meade Plantation #3) by Tamera Alexander , The Secret Life of Becky Miller (Becky Miller #1) by Sharon Hinck , Renovating Becky Miller (Becky Miller #2) by Sharon Hinck , Texas Cooking by Lisa Wingate , True Light (Restoration, #3) by Terri Blackstock , and Somewhere to Belong (Daughters of Amana, #1) by Judith McCoy Miller .

I also listened to and loved The Great Courses lectures, Great American Music: Broadway Musicals, which I can't show here since GR employees have been marking The Great Courses as NOT A BOOK, making them impossible to now find or post using "add book/author" even though they have printed books with transcripts or lecture summaries plus extra material, have ISBN's, and are offered by Audible. Lots of people have been using GR to keep track of The Great Courses that they listened to or watched, and now some of those records have been deleted. I just don't understand what's so bad about allowing people to use GR for the courses, especially since they are offered by Audible which is owned by Amazon, the same company that owns GR. People's ratings and reviews here on The Great Courses probably were helping to sell more courses through Audible, so it doesn't seem to make good business sense. Oh, well. I don't make the rules. I just have to follow them to use this site.
