Currently reading The Final Detail for my housing development's book club but would like to find some more authors like Dani Pettrey to read this month.

Meredith wrote: "Currently reading The Final Detail for my housing development's book club but would like to find some more authors like Dani Pettrey to read this month."Lynette Eason, Irene Hannon, Nancy Mehl, and Lisa Harris all write Christian suspense similar to Dani Pettrey.
I'm currently reading paperback Dragonflight (GM) and am planning to start my Kindle version of Love Letters & Home. I plan to finish the Dragonriders of Pern series for my other book club; and then I hope to read a few library books. I tried to go get 2 or 3 books from the library on Friday, forgetting they were closed for Good Friday. :) I will try again this week.

I have several on the shelf I'd like to get to. I'm not sure which ones will make it into the actual reading stack this month. I don't get to read as often as I like. But, here's my list of TBR...

Thank you! I've heard of some of these women before but others are new.
Lorraine, I took your suggestion for suspense author to Meredith and I believe I can use this book, also, for the mystery challenge of a disappearance:Vendetta (The Nikki Boyd Files Book #1) Kindle Edition
by Lisa Harris
I'm fairly new to this genre. I'm currently reading the 9/11 series by Karen Kingsbury. I finished One Tuesday Morning last night and excited to start Beyond Tuesday Morning this morning. So far I've read her Angels Walking Series and also the Mitford series by Jan Karon, except the final book.
I'm happy I found this genre and I'm looking forward to reading more books like this.

Welcome, Philip! So glad you've found some great books. I cried my way through One Tuesday Morning. Goodness, but Ms. Kingsbury can write!!!

I'm currently reading KK's Baxter family series. I may move on to the 9/11 series after I finish the (Baxter family) Bailey Flanigan series, but it won't be anytime soon.
I've already listened to A Bride at Last. I'm currently reading Take One and will continue with the series and get in as many as I can this month. I'm almost finished with As Love Blooms and A Man Lay Dead. I'm listening to The Tehran Initiative and will finish the series with Damascus Countdown. After those I will probably listen to The First Hostage and Without Warning to finish another series. I'm also listening to Great Courses lectures: The Great Courses: London: A Short History of the Greatest City in the Western World, which I'll finish this month, and Peloponnesian War, which I probably won't finish this month. I also asked my local library to buy Captain Blood, Beneath a Prairie Moon, and The Man He Never Was: A Modern Reimagining of Jekyll and Hyde in eaudio and was told that they would be bought, so if they show up on the RBdigital site this month and nobody checks them out before I do, I'll listen to them. I have Shadow of the Storm in paperback, and I'll start that when I finish As Love Blooms.

Paula, Chantel, and Hannah, aww, so sorry for making you jealous, ladies. I'm on Dani's influencer/street team and Bethany House granted us early access to it on Netgalley. I just finished it and I hope you all get a chance to read it soon, but either way trust me it is SO worth the wait! 😍

That’s OK! I’ll read it when it comes out! I know some more well established authors don’t have street/influencer teams. I know because I asked a few! But I am on some awesome ones. We can’t all be on everyone’s team! We’ll spread ourselves too thin! Congratulations!

All I know book 4... it's about to go down!!

Hi, all. I finished reading the "Half-Stitched" quilter's series by Wanda E. Brunstetter, with The Healing Quilt. Generally speaking, I found the series a bit "light" but I enjoyed it all the same.I just discovered I can borrow Just Look Up from a neighboring library, so I'm hoping to be able to pick this up in the for the April reads discussion. And I'm also requesting Catch a Falling Star for May. Looking forward to taking part in that discussion for sure!
Hi folks,I'm new here and new to this genre. I started reading the Mitford series by Jan Karon and found that I could take the messages in the books.
Since then, probably since the 1st of April or there abouts, I've been reading Karon Kingsbury. So far I've read the Angels Walking series and the 9/11 series. I've taken a break from her and I'm currently reading Love Letters & Home by Danni Roan.
I've downloaded the Redemption Series by Karen Kingsbury and looking forward to starting that after I finish this book.
Glad to be a part of this group. Thanks for adding me.

welcome Philip, you are going to be tempted by so many suggested books. Lots of challenges to encourage more reading too

The only fiction I am reading is rereading Francine Rivers Lineage of Grace with a book club. Also reading WHen Everything is Missions.
