Same. That's what I love about re-reads. But it can also make it boring if you re-read too much. :)

It was! I sometimes forget how old Numair is compared to Daine. They just already seem like a couple.

So, I got a tattoo today and read 90% of ...it's safe to say I prefer this to book 2!

Up to chapter 4 (view spoiler)[Not liking the romance hints with Numair. I did know this was coming as I've been spoiled, but I was hoping it would wait til she was at least 16 (still bad then but slightly better). I don't know what to make of Ozorne. (hide spoiler)]

Up to chapter 6 (view spoiler)[That shows those soldiers! I do love a good feminist, kick-ass woman scene. I'm more on board with a romance with Kaddar, although I'm not sure of his age, I just picture him around Daine's age. (hide spoiler)]

Book 2 wasn't my favorite either. It's kind of the series slump book. :/
