Well I couldn’t help myself I started reading Don’t let go...I think it will be the winner. This is only the 2nd book by this author for me, I think he’s going to be a great summer read. His chapter style is fast paced and keeps me turning pages.

Not for me or anyone else other than the only two names listed on your original post, Christine.Read the other posts in the thread to see all the OTHER names you need to vote for and then visit their lists.
Not with us! With yourself. LOL!! I've had months when I've gotten so far behind. If you only want to do it once, you could wait til the end of the month to count your votes.
FOR ONLY TWO PEOPLE! That's what I've been trying to tell you! You're supposed to vote for EVERYONE (except yourself, obviously)! That's the major rule!
*sigh* You should have asked someone. That's why I've been waiting since April see my name on your list of votes for the June book.
Apology accepted. I'm posting this here so that neither of us clutters up the actual voting thread with chatter about the books.
If you don't run into any problems, like the Joanne Fluke books on your most recent post on the actual voting thread. Sometimes GR does stuff like that. A couple years ago all my URLs for the books in my list sent people to the GR pages for the various Harry Potter books (none of which were actually on my list to begin with), instead of the books that were on my list so I had to delete the list and repost from scratch...at least twice before I got all my links to work properly.I lost interest in Harry Potter when I was introduced to Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden, Chicago's only wizard PI.
The Retreat
is a novel by Mark Edwards. It's way out ahead in the voting for my June Pick It For Me read. (When it's written in green and has a line under it, as in my previous post, it's a link to a book on Goodreads.)
I voted for the two I struggled with and also for Sophie's list:Kirsten: Without Fail - didn't want to create a tie ;-)
Perri: Under a Dark Summer Sky - despite the tie between only two books it was still tough so I went for the book that looks appealing to me
Sophie: Her Final Breath - if you're interested in a buddy read let me know - I want to re-read this book before I'll continue the series :-)
Hi Agnieszka,Yes I would be interested in a buddy read but I'm reading a bit of a chunk of a book at the moment (Assassin's Fate by Robin Hobb) so it might take me a couple of weeks to get through it! If you're not in a hurry and don't mind waiting for me then I'm in :)

I've been reading Fool's Assassin and have decided I just HAVE to go back and start reading this series from the beginning. It is just SO good!
I said the same thing about the Harry Dresden novels, Christine and then I read a Dresden Files graphic novel...now I read the novels themselves.
The whole of that collective series is brilliant. One day I will go back and re-read from the very beginning. The ones of Fitz as a child are by far my favourites.

I can understand it (800+ pages is a lot) and it's fine with me since I have several series/books I want to read much more urgently right now (and the reason why I put Tracy Crosswhite on a back burner) but if you let me know when you can start I'll squeeze it inbetween :-)
I think if I start with this series again than I'll re-read book 2 and read the remining books I have by than. So far I got the next three. Every few months the German Amazon shop offers most of this series for 1,49€ (almost a third of the usual price) and so I'm waiting for the next round to get book #6 (and the next in the Mercy Kilpatrick series as well - the one with the beautiful cover :-))
