Team I: There's No I In Team
Oh yes..it has were-leopards as MC but it does have other werewolves,No Vampires or Ghost,And the other MC has special powers,Set in US,female author, first in a series.
siriusedward wrote: "Finished Cinder too.I think it will fit Card 3 ,shoes on cover."Could you put that in the reporting thread for me please :)
siriusedward wrote: "I have also started Slightly Dangerous for Card 2,Set in England. How do we check card 2 in the spreadsheet? Can you please tell me..I see only Card 3."
Card 2 is full of completed categories or people who are currently reading books.
So we'll need to find a category on card 3
siriusedward wrote: "Oh yes..it has were-leopards as MCbut it does have werewolves,And the other MC has special powers,Set in US,female author, first in a series."Great :)
siriusedward - Slightly Danderous from what I can see, can either be last in series or free space. Unless you find something else once you read it.I'll put it down as free space at the moment, as it looks like that column could possibly be completed.
Oh.ok.Thanks Lynn.
Then,do you think you can fit Scarlet for space setting.I will be able to finish both my tomorrow night or Friday morning.
I just finished my Mountain setting book, and have decided to listen to the sequel, Evanly Choirs, which will fit either cozy mystery or Author name starts with R on card 3.
Lara wrote: "I just finished my Mountain setting book, and have decided to listen to the sequel, Evanly Choirs, which will fit either cozy mystery or Author name starts with R on card 3."I think I might be able to fit in a book for set in Australia (depends if I finish my current book tonight, so will know by tomorrow) .... so if we can find someone to read either cozy mystery or Author name starts with R then we'll have a completed line for card 3
I can commit to one more book for card 3, but that may be my limit I think. Set in the future or author with R would be easiest for me.
Annerlee wrote: "I can commit to one more book for card 3, but that may be my limit I think. If you're happy with those and a third book for card 3, then yes I'll put you down for author with R :)
Lynne: a book for card 3 is still fine. I've just finished one of the outstanding books for card 2 and am nearly half way through the second: Flowers for Algernon for 'set in US'.
About to start 'reading' The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler on audiobook for author beginning with R. I can start it on the bus home if I'm anti-social and explain to the old lady I normally chat to. She reads - she'll understand ; )
I finished Evanly Choirs for cozy mystery. It looks like disabled MC will be my last new book (I'll finish my nonfiction book tomorrow).
Great, thanks Annerlee and LaraI think we've reached our limit, but if anyone is looking to squeeze in another book then 'Set In Future' would give us another completed line.

i can do it.
Update on what's left of the assigned reads: Card 1:
Card 2:
Naomi - MC police / service
Vicki - Animal's Perspective
Lynn - MC special powers
Cherie - Free Space
Card 3:
Lara - MC Disability
siriusedward - Space setting
Author R - Annerlee
And various free categories for anyone wanting one last book ....
Lynn, the categories listed for me are in progress. I've started The Vixen and the Vet for disabled MC--the hero was wounded in either Iraq or Afghanistan, and both lost his right hand and has a seriously disfigured face. Whenever I see the title I recall a comment on the SBTB blog in which the person said she thought from the title that it was about a veterinarian and a fox shifter. I think I'd like that book too ;-)
siriusedward wrote: "Finished Scarlet."This was for space setting,Lynn...
I will finish Slightly Dangerous doon, for free space.
I'm 2/3 of my way through my book for the free space. I will finish it tomorrow. I'm not sure that I can finish another but I will look and see what is the shortest and if it will fit in - at least I will go from there.
Yikes, I'm the only one still left on card 1! The book is taking me a bit longer than expected and I've been kind of forcing myself through it (not because it's not enjoyable, but because my week is a lot busier and more stressful than I thought it would be, and this book has started to feel like something I also 'have' to do, so I'm reading when I'm not really in the mood for reading). But no worries, I'll finish it on time. I'm 82% in and have only 3 or 4 more chapters to go.

Ah yes! Down as finished now
Lara wrote: "Lynn, the categories listed for me are in progress. I've started The Vixen and the Vet for disabled MC--the hero was wounded in either Iraq or Afghanistan, and both lost his right h..."I have that on my tbr for this month too!
I finished my second book. I won't be able to do another in the remaining 18 hours, so that was it for me!
Great stuff! Hope you enjoyed your reads, despite having to squeeze them in around work.I'm half way through my audiobook for author with R and I started Frankenstein Unbound for time travel on the bus home. It's ony 188 pages, so I should finish it this evening.
UpdateTo complete Card 2:
Naomi - MC police / service
Vicki - Animal's Perspective
Lynn - MC special powers
Cherie - Free Space
To complete rows / columns on Card 3:
Lara - MC Disability
siriusedward - Space setting
Annerlee - Author R
Other categories on Card 3 that have been assigned:
Annerlee - Time Travel
Lynn - 2017 Choice Awards
Hi Lynn, I just noticed the Color in the title box on card three. I have been re-listening to Crucible of Gold all week. I should finish it tonight, if you want to put me down. I never add it to my "currently reading" list, because it was a re-listen for me. Does it matter?
That actually leaves one space left for us to complete another row .... which is 'Book that a teammate rated 5★'So if anyone else has read a book throughout the week that you didn't count towards a category, give us a shout and we'll see if anyone else has rated it 5. You never know!
Well, I just started Dark in Death, which fits author pseudonym on card 3. It does fit several other categories if shuffling helps, but as a new release I don't think it'll fit 5 stars.
siriusedward wrote: "I read Cress, will it fit?And space setting done and reported Lynne."
Yes it will! Cherie rated it 5 stars :D
Lara wrote: "Well, I just started Dark in Death, which fits author pseudonym on card 3. So I'll put this down for author pseudonym :)
I reported my animal perspective book- it was hilarious.I found a children's book with an elephant on the cover so I'm listening to it now:
but I'm pretty tired so I might not finish it.
I finished my book for the free space on card 2, Lynn and reported it in the reporting thread. I will be listening to the end of Crucible of Gold tonight. I don't think I can finish another in the time left.
I finished the audio book, Crucible of Gold, linked in my previous post and posted it in the reporting thread. It was all I could do to stay awake at the end. I'm done now and going to bed.
Good morning team!I'm curling up with my final book. It's Saturday and the sun is streaming through the window... Just the thing.
I worried I wouldn't finish my final book but managed to get it done this morning. Author pseudonym: Dark in Death has been reported.
Whoop! That's now Card 1 and Card 2 completed. Just me and Annerlee left to finish to complete a row and a column on Card 3.
I'm pretty sure mine will be done .... back to reading!

Thanks for checking in and sorry you've been ill. Can I just check, does Slave to Sensation have Vampires, werewolves, or ghosts in the story? The write up isn't clear, and what I know of the book I'm not too sure .....
