Yeah sure! Whenever you're ready :) I'll be reading it a little late, but don't worry, I'll still definitely read it this month :)

So far I prefer the story set in 1936. (view spoiler) Not much has happened in the present story. (view spoiler)

The present has gotten more interesting, but it still feels slow. (view spoiler) The past is still interesting. (view spoiler)

Now things have picked up and gotten exciting. (view spoiler) I think (view spoiler) is David's father. Although, his last name is different. I am still intrigued by the past story, but not much was added to the story.

Well, that was surprising and disappointing. I was hoping for (view spoiler) I am surprised that (view spoiler) Also, (view spoiler) I'm not sure what to make of that.

Starting this after work tonight. Late, I know. Not sure when I'll finish. Maybe (hopefully) tomorrow.

I think there will be some answers and more hints in the next book, but most of the important questions won't be answered until the final book.

It's okay. Most people, myself included, get behind from time to time.
Putting this down for a few days, as I'm just not feeling it yet. And it doesn't count for another challenge in which I'm really pushed for time. So I'll pick it back up in around a week.

Reading from the 20th of March 2018

I don't usually read mystery books but I really like this one too!
Shortly after the school opened, his wife and daughter were kidnapped. The only real clue was a mocking riddle listing methods of murder, signed with the frightening pseudonym “Truly, Devious.” It became one of the great unsolved crimes of American history.
True-crime aficionado Stevie Bell is set to begin her first year at Ellingham Academy, and she has an ambitious plan: She will solve this cold case. That is, she will solve the case when she gets a grip on her demanding new school life and her housemates: the inventor, the novelist, the actor, the artist, and the jokester. But something strange is happening. Truly Devious makes a surprise return, and death revisits Ellingham Academy. The past has crawled out of its grave. Someone has gotten away with murder.
The two interwoven mysteries of this first book in the Truly Devious series dovetail brilliantly, and Stevie Bell will continue her relentless quest for the murderers in books two and three.
