Fantasitic review Krystal. I can see why you gave it 5 stars. I have just downloaded a copy and will bump it to the top of my TBR list. Thanks for the recommendation.

. I seem to be getting more time to read than I thought, so am going to start another scarecrow using books that come highly recommended by this group.
Gender: Female - Hush, Little Bird by Nicole Trope - AA

Arms/Legs - My Mother's Secret: Based on a True Holocaust Story by J.L. Witterick

Finished my second; “Book that is longer than 300 pages”Every Day by David Levithan
I gave it 4 stars, because though I did thoroughly enjoy it, there were things I felt could have been left out or changed and that made me a bit disappointed. But, still a worthwhile read at the end of the day - especially considering I didn’t expect to like at all!
Loren wrote: "Every Day by David Levithan..."There's a sequel to this: Another Day. Told from the POV of the other character. I enjoyed them both.
My snowman now has Aussie arms and legs (tan lines and southern cross tattoos) thanks to The Suspect

To be fair I chose easy reads coz I get distracted by other books too easily lol
I'm afraid I have to call it quits on this challenge. I've only managed to finish one of my selected books so far & have little chance of getting through the others at this point. Sometimes the rest of life just gets in the way of reading time!I think I will stick to the longer challenges for a while as I don't seem to get through as much in a month as I used to.
Good luck to everyone on the last half of the month!

I finished my scarecrow (and my first challenge with this group)! That was really a fun challenge. My books -
1. Gender (F) -
The Family Next Door by Sally Hepworth (AA)... The last one I read, but definitely not the least. Quick read, good holiday book. I liked The Mother's Promise better, but this one is still good. ***+ (3 1/2 stars)
2. Head -
The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell by Robert Dugoni-- Loved it!, But then I have liked every book I've read by this author. ***** (5 stars)
3. Arms & Legs -
The Chilbury Ladies' Choir by Jennifer Ryan -- Charming, entertaining, but didn't grab me. Slow start, better at the end. *** (3 stars)
4. Body -
We'll Always Have Paris by Sue Watson -- Well, I finished it, and that's about all I can say about this one. Wish I could get that time back. ** (2 stars)
Finished my 3rd - Head/Face -
Island in the East by Jenny Ashcroft

Finished my challenge with more than a week to spare! What a great month this was, no duds in the mix, just four fantastic novels! Looking forward to the next challenge :)
Great work everyone on finishing your books and, therefore, your challenges!
I finished my 'book of choice' for my first scarecrow ...
I am also well on my way to finishing my second. This has been made all the more easy as I have picked books that have been rated highly by other members from this group. I am pleased to say they have not disappointed.
Gender - female:
Head:
Body:
Now onto something a little less intense ... The Break by Marian Keyes
I'm going to mark my final book as read. I'm well past 125 pages but as this book is short stories and over 400 pages long I'm only going to dip in and out of it between other books to get it finished.Challenge completed.
