Object of the challenge is to build your very own scarecrow! In order to build one, you will need to complete each of the 4 body parts required (gender, head/face, arms & legs, and body). You only need to read 1 book per body part. You do not need to read the body part tasks in order, but you do need all 4 to complete a scarecrow.

Easy – Build one scarecrow (4 books – one must be an Aussie Author)
Medium – Build two scarecrows (8 books – two must be an Aussie Author)
Hard – Build three scarecrows (12 books – three must be an Aussie Author)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Male or Female - Choose Your Scarecrow's Gender
Female - Read a book by a female author OR
Male-Read a book by a male author
2. Head/Face
Read a book with just a head/face on cover (not the rest of the body) OR
Read a book that scares you (your interpretation)
3. Arms & Legs
Read a book with arms and legs visible on the cover (at least 1 arm and 1 leg must be visible to count) OR
Read a book where the MC can be described as very patient OR
Read a book where the MC has a boring job (your interpretation)
4. Body
Read a book over 300 pages OR
Read a book where the MC protects someone or something
DON'T FORGET
1. Our guidelines HERE
2. Please include pictures of the book covers especially when the task requires something to be on the cover - for example if you pick the task with arms or legs showing on the cover - we need to see those covers as we don't have time to click on each link to go and check :)
Kylie (kyliemaree) | 878 comments Oh wow mods, you've done it yet again with this fabulous challenge!
Sadly though, I am going to have to pass this month as I'm relocating in around 10 days. I'll be lucky if I get 1 read in February!
Good luck to everyone who is participating - I'll be cheering you all on! xo :)
