What are you reading in 2018?

My library won't get it 'til next week."
No, I pre-ordered it from Amazon and it was shipped Prime on Sunday so I'd have it today. What I really like about pre-ordering from Amazon is that they usually drop the price of the book from when I ordered it. The book prices are usually $3 - $5 lower.

It's sitting on my Kindle. I'm dying to read it, but dread the long wait for the next one! haha Saving it to enjoy this weekend.

I'm getting further in State of Grace by Elizabeth Davies. I'm looking forward to review this book.

I finished listening to Let Me Lie by Clare Mackintosh, one of the strangest stories I’ve ever read. Highly recommend and here’s my review.
I’m now listening to Sulfur Springs by William Kent Krueger, Cork O’Connor #16.

I finished The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas, Throne of Glass #.01 - .05, and I am seriously hooked! You must read these novellas before starting the series. Here’s my review of each novella.

The new books aren't as good as the original ones. But I do like how she progressed the characters and is even giving us new threats/bad guys.
I also just finished reading book #2 in the Inspector Gamache series, A Fatal Grace by Louise Penny. Very nicely crafted mystery. (Sympathized with Beauvoir. I, too, think curling boring.)
Still listening to Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

I love The Bourbon Kings in audio...the narrator's voice is fabulous!

He nails the storytelling! (Not great with female voices but what male narrator is.)

I was a little disappointed with The Thief too. Her books are, usually, an automatic 5 star read for me but this one was a little "meh".
I'm looking for another good series or good author to start reading.
I've been reading the Michael Gresham series by John Ellsworth but the author is kind of all over the place with this character and I'm getting bored.
If anyone has any suggestions on a new good series, I'd be grateful.

I checked out your shelf and have a couple I think you’d enjoy.
You read and enjoyed Tonya Burrows’ Wilde Security series. Well, her HORNET series is even better! I’m reading the fifth book now and it’s good!
Also, indie author Toni Anderson’s Cold Justice series is outstanding.

Thanks Jonetta - I'll check them out. I'm ready for a few new favorite authors. :-)

I finished Where I Belong by Claudia Connor and discovered it’s a standalone and not part of the McKinney/Walker series (it IS a novella in author Cristin Harber’s Titan world). I really like the author but this one was meh. Here’s my review.
I’m now reading Love At Last by same author, Claudia Connor.
