No, I pre-ordered it from Amazon and it was shipped Prime on Sunday so I'd have it today. What I really like about pre-ordering from Amazon is that they usually drop the price of the book from when I ordered it. The book prices are usually $3 - $5 lower.

Kirsten (kmcripn) I read The Thief this week - and of course finished it in one day!!

The new books aren't as good as the original ones. But I do like how she progressed the characters and is even giving us new threats/bad guys.

I also just finished reading book #2 in the Inspector Gamache series, A Fatal Grace by Louise Penny. Very nicely crafted mystery. (Sympathized with Beauvoir. I, too, think curling boring.)

Still listening to Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

I was a little disappointed with The Thief too. Her books are, usually, an automatic 5 star read for me but this one was a little "meh".

I'm looking for another good series or good author to start reading.

I've been reading the Michael Gresham series by John Ellsworth but the author is kind of all over the place with this character and I'm getting bored.

If anyone has any suggestions on a new good series, I'd be grateful.

I checked out your shelf and have a couple I think you’d enjoy.

You read and enjoyed Tonya Burrows’ Wilde Security series. Well, her HORNET series is even better! I’m reading the fifth book now and it’s good!

Also, indie author Toni Anderson’s Cold Justice series is outstanding.

Martha DeSabia (marthamary) | 776 comments I just finished “Voyager “, the third book in the “Outlander “ series. Loved it but it took me a long time. I have had a few things going on! I joined a book club at my church and am trying to juggle the addition of that reading with the other books I am working on. I also discovered that Mary Stewart’s novels are now available on Kindle so I have downloaded my favorites and am happily rediscovering them. And last but not least our second grandchild was just born! Miss Victoria Gail made her appearance on March 18 at 8 1/2 pounds!
