I added Quicksand to the spreadsheet. It works for #16 on the April mini. (character goes to court)

I moved a few books around to fit a few of mine in. Mostly mine and Cinthia's I think. But all books that were already there are still there. :)
I've got a book with a heart on the cover that I may be able to get to in time. But if someone else finds something first, feel free!
A little status update:We've got 8 hands completely done. We only have 2 color cards still to be read! 16 books more will fully complete our hands!
Mini-challenge: 35 books completed. We're halfway there! Of the remaining 35 tasks, only 15 of them still need a book selected!
We're currently in 7th place on the ranking spreadsheet. But we haven't copied any of our mini-challenge info over. When you add in those points, we're in 3rd place!

I did some switching: I put Cinthia's Furiously Happy: A Funny Book About Horrible Things to 27 and Sarah's A Court of Mist and Fury to 23.
I added
to the spreadsheet. It works for the mini #48...book with a pink cover.
I've found a short book with the word Chance in the title!I've got a book with Haiku in the text, but my mom is coming on Sunday for a few days, and that will affect my end of the month reading time. Not sure if I'll be able to get it done, so I won't claim it on the spreadsheet yet.

I just added a book with "haiku" in text, so that won't be a problem:)

I just did some really convoluted moving around. I moved Christine's pink book to the heart spot, Sarah's Brownies book to the baked goods spot, Diana's newspaper book to the baked goods, my lawyer book to the newspaper spot, all so I could fit in the one I just finished. :)
Finished Coast. I found a book with a mirror on the cover that I might be able to add at the end for something breakable on the cover.

I was hoping it would work for #18 - siblings that reconnect. Leia and Rachel turned out to be stepsisters, and I don't really consider them "reconnecting." They weren't close but they weren't estranged either, so I don't think it would work.
Christine, if you tell us any tasks something works for, we can figure out how to move things around. I’ve moved as many as 4 books around to fit in 1 new book! :)

Cinthia, my book for #40, Newspaper or Book on cover, also works for humor MPG. So if anyone has something for that, we can move it to humor and save you reading the other book. Or, if anyone has a baked good on the cover, we can move a few around to take out your humor book. :)
ETA: There is a book on our Black cover book, so if someone has a black cover, we can do some switching there, too.
Also, any book of mine that's on the spreadsheet for the mini, if it doesn't have a read date yet, feel free to replace it if that's the only spot something can be worked in. Just post here so I can adjust my reading. :)
One more thing. Don't forget the 4 bonus book spots! Those books can be read before the others are all finished, but if we don't finish all of the others they won't count. Basically, if a book can fit into 2 spots in the mini-challenge, it can be used as a bonus book. :)

Also, I think there are already some books that were not listed on the mini but that might be able to go for the extra bonus. We should write them there so we don't forget.
No, not a physical copy.I think the only ones not yet used are The Yellow Fairy Book and The Tidewater Sisters. I put Christine’s other in for task 1, since Eni hasn’t finished Redwall yet. Redwall can go in the bonus spots.
I just realized there is a glass vase on a cover I need to read this week. So that gives you a breather.
And, I just realized that I should check Uno Pixie’s shelf to see if she’s read anything that works for these spots!

Yes we can add another one. It doesn’t have to be the word sky, just the letters S, K, and Y.

Diana is reading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which does have the letters of SKY in the title. So if someone has a replacement alien book we could switch those out.

ugg.. i dont know whats wrong.. everytime i think about reading redwall i just loose the will to read.... Thankfully we dont need it anymore. Great job gals. if anyone can finish it faster go ahead, if not, i can read The Dangerous Days of Daniel X. It´s supposed to be an easy read and in the description says the mc is an Alien Hunter.

I should be able to do one more after the funny book. What do we still need?

My breakable can be used as a bonus book, but first I'm going to see if I can get Megan's books to fit those spots, first. Then I see where we're at and let you know what we still need.
