As a new year resolution i was going o do a challenge in the group. I'll be doing one of Amy's challenges However i realized with my current reading pattern i think i could make my own challenge.
Lets see how it goes!

The challenge :
Try to read a whole series in a month.. per month.

Its easy if you have the time... even if you don't i did say whole series... so that includes trilogy series books too! BUT it is a challenge so you do want to try and achieve it. This also means you can read all the released books of a series... It may not be finished yet but it will still count!

Whole Series a Month Challenge

JANUARY

FEBRUARY

MARCH

APRIL

MAY

JUNE

JULY

AUGUST

SEPTEMBER

OCTOBER

NOVEMBER

just copy and paste into your own challenge and edit the comment when you're done.
Good luck and Happy Reading

When you say, read a whole series, do you mean the rest that is left for you, or do you have to reread to actually read the whole series. I have a lot of series that I only need one or two books to finish and I could definitely join with those, though I would try to add in some that need a few more like, Chicagoland. I think I need 3. But if you want the whole series... which I doubt, I wouldn't be able to do it. Let me know. As of now, I think you mean the rest left to you.

I did mean the whole series from start to finish but finishing off whatever books are left in the series will be accepted too.
honestly I had never thought of doing it that way . it's a great idea!
I might even be able to get a couple of series finished per month if I do it that way!!!

I might get 12 series done but it is not happening on a monthly basis. I only seem to be interested in reading 1-3 books of my series for completion at a time. I got a lot of the novels to Incyptid done, also have started and read most of Psycop, both will get finished in the next couple of months. I've got a lot further ahead in Guardians of Eternity by Alexandra Ivy but have 4 more novels and some novellas (if we count them, I think that is up to the reader normally) and I'm taking a break. I'll get it done, most likely in the year too.

I'm going to put the series for the month and what I have read so far and put a finished, if and when I get it finished. Also at the bottom I'm going to put the one book finale books that I read to complete a series, as I have so many of those pressing on me.

Sorry to change around your challenge but I have so many series to complete and I've only added to them so far this year. I did get Grave Ransom finally, which catches me up there. I've been meaning to read it since it came out last summer! It was great! I was avoiding it because the one before it wasn't so great for me.

you do what you can do. It's kinda open to interpretation. So if you interpreted it that way then do it that way.... I'm seriously not fussed! in fact I'm just glad you're doing the challenge.

I'm naming a different series each month. Might get easier at the end of the year when I'm further into the 40+ series I want to get back to and finish up. :-)

I have so many end books that I need to finish up and I'll list those separately since there is only one. I'm trying to save the 12 for more than one or two books left.

I've caught up with Incryptid until March 6th when the next one comes out. Great series.

I've added Hard Luck Hank as my finish up series for April. I finished all the novels for Incryptid- January, and Psy-cop - February.

One thing I've learned from series challenges is that I don't read the same series in a row more than 2 or 3 books no matter how much I like the series.

This disappeared, probably because it was not commented on for a couple of months. So bump.

OK, I've updated and have at least trilogies for some months. Demonica will be for July though again, might not finish until later.

I totally forgot about this... thus really needs updating. I've read through a few series since I started. unfortunately the app won't let me update the comment so I'm going in search of a PC where I can do that sorta stuff.

I need to update here but I'm currently reading through two series so will come back when finished with some more there. I finish most of Noctune Falls, cute PNR, easy to read but not much meat to it. So August will be that. and then September will but either SPECTR or Whyborne & Griffin, which are both written by Hex World, above, writer.

I think a series a month, even catching up is for the book a day readers as it is a lot of books!

I'm doing a series challenge in another group but we have it as two book is enough to say, ha, completed so I have different series there. Also there we are only allowed the series that we already started as it is a clean up challenge. I've started so many series and trilogies and read right through this year that this one actually is the bigger one. I am reading like a book almost per day right now which is totally crazy.

I would like to count just one, I got the last one and caught up. I have so many that I just have that last one to read even though it may just be sitting there. I thought I would go to it immediately at the time of release. I think I might make a catch up to the series challenge where you have only one or 2 book to go challenge, and include any new releases you are lucky enough to read. Though I wouldn't require them.

I need 1 Demonica book (though I am also reading a novella) and 2 Galactic Gladiators and will call this finished. I'll probably read some more of the novellas of Incryptid but I don't consider those essentials normally. There are some series that have essential novellas but you figure it out, like Alpha and Omega, for the Alpha and Omega series.

Yea h I was so optimisticin January. Maybe next year I'll do a trilogy one. 12 trillogies that sounds easy enough.
I'm aiming to pre do 12challenges to try and back you up(especially if life gets in the way and we can't get one out!).
As for my series I've read... I haven't completed it... And I don't think I will be able to.
But I sure as hell can try!!

This is pretty hard even with my change of just finishing those series with 3 or more books needed. Finishing series is no easy task. Four of the series above are new to this year! Four are new to this year and only trilogies with possible novellas added in. And 4, and only 4 are series that I actually need to finish from the year, or years before. So I started twice as many as continued. I really would like to do more of a clean up of already started and need a couple.
