Amy, Main Traveled Roads was published in the 20th century and I read it in June, not July. It might fit the category for June though. Does frontier = wilderness?

Oh, I went with original published date of 1891. But yes, I'd say frontier would = wilderness.

I read the revised edition. It was published in 1922.
