I started Heritage of Cyador last month and haven’t had much chance to read it, but that should change this week as I am part of a market reasearch study that involves sitting quietly for 7 hours a day, with a break for lunch, for 4 days. I hope to get through this book and a few others as well!
I am a little more than 60% finished Consider Phlebasthe plan is to read these books:
The Name of the Wind
The Forever War
The Stars, Like Dust
Turtles All the Way Down
Try #2 on The Collapsing Empire. First time around there was just too much going on and my mood was for something more simple.
This month I'm reading: The Wanderer by Fritz Leiber
Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein
Doomsday Book by Connie Willis
Rama II by Arthur C. Clarke and Gentry Lee
And I'm trying to finish them all by the end of the month, along with Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie.
Just finished Cemetary World by Clifford Simak and am halfway through Wait For Signs by Craig Johnson.
I'm currently listening to Diana, La Belle Sauvage, and am reading Rotherweird . I finished listening to A Mind to Kill. Not sure what I'll tackle next.
I'm totally swamped with schoolwork right now and can't afford to get sucked into a book with a plot. I'm picking at Salt: A World History in bits and pieces and finding it interesting.
I've just finished Mira Grant's Into the Drowning Deep and Rolling in the Deep. I'm now reading an oldie from 1991, Sadar's Keep. I'm not sure after that, but I'm saving up How the Finch Stole Christmas! for (summer) Christmas reading.
I just finished Wake of Vultures which I greatly enjoyed and highly recommend. Now about to start The Swan Riders
I finished The Swan Riders which I highly recommend; I've now returned to the Wild West with Conspiracy of Ravens

I have Sadar's Keep on my shelf, unread. Is it part of a series? I have 2 other books by Midori Snyder (also unread). I think I bought them at a book sale or used book store without knowing anything about the author or the titles.

The books are New Moon, Sadar's Keep and Beldan's Fire.
I also have and have read Hannah's Garden by Snyder. This one was highly recommended to me by my SFF bookseller (in the days when I had one). I don't remember a lot about it now, but my review here on Goodreads shows I gave it a 9/10.

Well, those are the 3 books I have, so I guess I have that trilogy all ready for me when I decided to read it! Thanks for the info.

You'll like it, Kathi! It's one of my old favorites. I haven't thought about those books in years :)

Finished The Collapsing Empire. I enjoyed it and look forward to more.Starting a reread of The Madness Season. I read it once a very long time ago and a recent discussion among friends made me want to read it again.
Impatiently waiting for Nemesis Games.
I've finished Sadar's Keep, so I'm going to reread The Life of the World to Come for a change of pace before going on to Beldan's Fire.
I finished The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay. While parts of it were engrossing and page-turning, there were whole sections that seemed tedious and mired in minutiae. There were times when I found every excuse to not pick up the book and continue reading, yet I read the last couple hundred pages in one sitting.
Rather than try to squeeze in something else before returning to The Expanse, I think I’ll start Nemesis Games next week.

I finished with Persepolis Rising. FANTASTIC.Now onwards to my cozy holiday reads of the latest illustrated edition of Harry Potter 2 & 3. Jim Kay is a wonderful artist.

Agreed. I this this one of the best of the series!
I still liked Nemesis Games best but this one is definitely the runner up. I could not say how much I love Bobbie. I am now catching up with my short-stories TBR.
Well, I loved Nemesis Games and can’t wait to discuss it.
Back to The Company series with Mendoza in Hollywood.

You guys are lucky with the series binge since Persepolis Rising has just been released. And only another year before the next one. They are pretty productive, the Corey duo.
I exceeded my plan this month. I read:Consider Phlebas
The Name of the Wind
The Forever War
The Stars, Like Dust
Turtles All the Way Down
The Einstein Intersection
Orphans Of The Sky
The Day Before Tomorrow
currently reading Podkayne of Mars and should be done in a day or two
I finished the next Drizzt book by R.A. Salvatore, The Crystal Shard. It was a fun, rather traditional fantasy. Now out of genre with Bending the Boyne: A Novel of Ancient Ireland.
I finished an old SciFi (1968): The Ice People by René Barjavel about the discovery of an ancient, advanced civilization under the Antarctic ice sheet. The idea was interesting, but I really disliked the novel. It reads like a bad memoir. This may be the translation It was originally in French. It did win the Prix des Libraires for 1969. At least it was short.
I finished Conspiracy of Ravens which I enjoyed but find myself increasingly disliking the protagonist. S/he's especially bad when with the rangers. I'll probablyread the third volume. Next I read Magpie Murders which I highly recommend although it is off-topic being a "whodunnit" wrapped in a "whodunnit"
Now I'm just starting The Dry
