Nyssa | 1651 comments Hello,

For this series buddy read, I am hoping to complete a novel every two weeks. I plan to start a new thread for each book.

I personally plan to read the short stories, in order as outlined here and here.
Short stories can be discussed in the same thread as the book they follow. For instance, One Word Answer would be addressed in the thread for Dead as a Doornail.

Here is the planned schedule - please feel free to jump in at any time (and let me know if you need a thread opened earlier).

Dead Until Dark -- Dec. 31st - Jan. 13th
Living Dead in Dallas -- Jan. 14th - Jan. 27th
Club Dead -- Jan. 28th - Feb. 10th
Dead to the World -- Feb. 11th - Feb. 24th
Dead as a Doornail -- Feb. 25th - Mar. 10th
Definitely Dead -- Mar. 11th - Mar. 24th
All Together Dead -- Mar. 25th - Apr. 7th
From Dead to Worse -- Apr. 8th - Apr. 21st
Dead and Gone -- Apr. 22nd - May 5th
Dead in the Family -- May 6th - May 19th
Dead Reckoning -- May 20th - Jun. 2nd
Deadlocked -- Jun. 3rd - Jun. 16th
Dead Ever After -- Jun. 17th - Jun. 30th

D.L. Thanks :)

Diana Stormblessed (dashichka) | 5357 comments I want to do this! I read the first 8 or so but then kind of lost interest. I want to finish the series but at this point I don't even remember them. Wouldn't mind a reread.

Welcome! :)

I had initially stopped after book nine when the announcement came out that the series would end with 13 books. I then purchased each new paperback until I had them all. The only thing I'm missing now is The Complete Sookie Stackhouse Stories which I plan to get in a week or two. I considered waiting until it was available as a paperback, but I want to finish a complete reading of the series, so Kindle version it will be.

Shaitarn | 2185 comments It seems my local library isn't as fantasy-phobic as I thought! I discovered the Complete Sookie Stackhouse stories on the shelves today so I'll be reading them as well (I only have a loan period of 3 weeks, so I may read a couple of them in advance of the novels.)
