I am going to throw in the towel on this challenge. I've had so many great ones this year, but life is just too crazy right now. Best wishes. I'll be back!

Updated msg 263. I've read 25/21 books but only because I've gobbled up a series I planned on only starting... and so there are still books I hoped to read that I haven't gotten to yet. Still time...
Update to Message 709:Naruto, Vol. 11: Impassioned Efforts
Blue Exorcist, Vol. 1
Godchild, Volume 04
Godchild, Volume 05
Godchild, Volume 06
The Demon Prince of Momochi House, Vol. 1
Venom: Lethal Protector
72/60
Just finished the Throne of Glass series - Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas. Excellent! Everything you want in the finale of a great, epic series! Must, must, must either read recaps or have recently read entire series to get all the plot points and characters, but so worth it! Definitely worth reading! 5 stars33/15
Just finished Star Marines, the third and final book of the Legacy Trilogy by Ian Douglas. I read this entire trilogy this year.64/75
Updated Message #110:Status: 36/55
Books Read:
35. Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix (Harry Potter #5)
36. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Harry Potter #6)
Just started another series, Nina Borg - The Boy in the Suitcase by Lene Kaaberbol. I really enjoyed this nordic noir! Maybe having two female authors gave this a slightly different voice from the other nordic noir writers, and I really liked it. I appreciated the references to immigration problems, graft, and exploitation of women and children. Having those issues highlighted can make a difference in the international conversation. Definitely worth reading! 4 stars34/15
Paper Doll, book 20 of Robert B. Parker's Spencer series. I have been working on the series for a long time.65/75
November update to msg 756After planning what series to read in 2019, I realized I won't have time to read them all unless I get more reading done this year.
So, I'm upping my challenge goal to 41.
Start new series: 17/19
*Brother Cadfael Chronicles: A Rare Benedictine (3 Nov)
*Bois Sauvage: Salvage the Bones (15 Nov)
Start to Finish: 10/12
*The Obelisk Gate (1 Nov)
*The Stone Sky (5 Nov)
Part of a series: 4/10
*The Web of the Witch World (1 Nov)
*Turn Coat (7 Nov)
*The Willful Princess and the Piebald Prince (15 Nov)
Progress: 32/41 (as of 15 Nov 2018)
Just started, and am not continuing, another series - The Last Magician by Lisa Maxwell. I wanted to like this book, most of its elements are right up my alley, but it just fell short. The writing was clunky, the plot predictable, and in the end, I just wanted it to be over. Not worth reading or continuing the series. 2.5 stars35/15
Update to Message 709:Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 1
My Hero Academia, Vol. 6
Naruto, Vol. 12: The Great Flight
Attack on Titan: Lost Girls the Manga, Vol. 2
78/60
