Thanks for the reminder Skandia.
Lisa - (Aussie Girl) wrote: "WooHoo. Is that our first read through? What is our genre book going to be .."Yep - first read through done.
We have a few books we could count as fiction, so I picked one at random that has 73 tags.
I had to move week 5 tracking to post 7 as I ran out of characters in post 4, so, updated post 7.
Sakshi got back to me and she is still around and keeping tabs on the thread but hasn't been feeling well.

Congratulation Sallie. Yep, you've just got to roll with it in this life, that's for sure. Good job team, especially as we are a couple of team members down due to unexpected stuff. Again, real life..ha.
I will be without my laptop this week ( it's gotta go to the Accountants for a software upgrade)so I will be posting from my phone. Apologies in advance.. I'm not very good on my phone.
Thanks Renee...I was in the process of updating our spreadsheet when I saw your post...Whew~~ I didnt mean to cut that so close...
Lisa - (Aussie Girl) wrote: "Does this mean history - fiction or non-fiction?"History I think is meant to be non fiction - but as long as it is shelves 10 times I don't think it really matters.
I've got one! Britain's Royal Families: The Complete Genealogy by Alison Weir. It's shelved as History - 96 times...I use it as my guide when I'm reading historicals sometimes but I've never shelved it... till now..

Can you use it for any of the letters?
I have a copy of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks which will also work for H, I, S, T, R
Yours is better, Renee... I guess if I use the English Monarchy as "characters" you've got Henrys, Richards, Stuarts, Yorks???How about we do both books so it gives us flexibility?
Actually, flicking through there is a Royal Family member starting with every letter although the I and O are obscure members.

Sounds like a good idea. I might check in with Karen to see if we can use them as characters as it is more of a reference book. I think the characters need to have dialogue, so I'm not sure if they will count.
I have no non-fiction history books to read right now, so can't help with genre read. But I have at least H and Y covered with my next weeks books.
Erin, There are 3 books on your wheelathon shelf that dont have read dates set. Can you mark them read now, as we can use them all this week. Thanks.Eleanor & Park

I asked in the Captains group -
Hey Karen. We have a team member who was planning to read Britain's Royal Families: The Complete Genealogy for History this week. Are we able to use the names of the members of the Royal family discussed in the book as characters for the spell it out?
Reply was -
Sorry Renee, we're not accepting people spoken about in non-fiction books as characters, just the author or title
So Lisa, I don't think we can use Britains Royal Families as one of the letters.
