Good luck to you too!
I realized afterwards that I was being rather...ambitious. LOL. I literally just took a screenshot of one of my smaller shelves. I probably won't read everything on there, but will certainly make progress (I HOPE!).
Kindle bookshelves also count, if you prefer to read eBooks!

These stories are a fun blend of diverse aliens and hard science, and Beowulf is funny :) Now I know what a Bandersnatch is!

We are all always overly ambitious in the beginning because when I saw this challenge, my thoughts immediately went to the three huge boxes of books I have under my bed. Obviously now its been 24 hours and I have come to my senses lool but not to worry we will get there eventually.
I think for this challenge I will try to finish all the series Ive started and abandoned throughout the years

Hahahha a bandersnatch! Now I want to read this book just to know what it is
I wanna know what a bandersnatch is too! :D I have a feeling this will start seeping into our everyday conversations lol
Continuing different book series is a good idea!

Here is the best walk through that I have seen so far: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I hope this helps! Let me know if there are questions though...I can hopefully clarify a bit more. :)

To embed you just need to put a less than sign at the beginning and a greater than sign at the end of the following:

It's okay, Wendy! :D Zech had to help me do it the first time too. I just get lucky because I live with someone who likes all this code-y sorta stuff! But we see your shelf, so have no fear!

Also! Finished the first book on my shelf today....totally counting this as my Rainbow Challenge book too. Gotta be strategic. :D
More Than You Can Chew was very, very good. Not a difficult read, but dang. Sad as heck and dealt with some serious issues. Glad I picked it up.

Wendy I have no clue what Sam and Hubby are doing either hahahh I envy you guys
I usually use Photobucket, it will take longer most likely but I am crap at technology so I need steps
So you basically upload a picture there and it will generate a HTML link for you and so you just copy and paste that here http://photobucket.com/

Wendy- I hear so many good things about the Illuminae series! I can't wait to read it.
Bridgett- I love your beauty and the beast funko pops!
I'll post my book shelf soon!

Looking from Matilda to The Call of the Wild, I've already read 7 of these, so that leaves 13 in the picture that I still need to read!

I LOVE The Witches. It is seriously my favorite Roald Dahl book. The movie is creepy as all get out. It scared the crap out of me as a child. I love watching it whenever I see it available.
HAHA! Ohhhhh, poor Congo! My cat started nomnoming on the pages of my book the other day. No reason. :D I guess our weird animals thing our books are delicious!
That is a nice looking shelf you have there! I LOVEEEEEED The Doll People! That was a favorite of mine waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day! And Ella Enchanted there. Man, good shelf!

The Witches was really good! My husband said he watched the movie when he was a kid and that it was really scary. I haven't seen it yet but I am running off to add it to my queue on netflix now!
And The Doll People was one of my favorite books when I was younger too! I loved it so much. I really need to reread it sometime.

Haha! Dad jokes for the win :D
And YES! I removed the front layer of books before taking the picture of my ambitious shelf. And don't even get me started on the dust layer that was removed as well LOL

I liked this book primarily because it was full of really interesting hard sciencey stuff to try and visualize on gigantic scales, and the situational character interactions were hilarious. Nessus and Speaker make the book!

This book was mindbendingly good! If I say too much it will spoil it, but it's a great read that has a lot of fun science and anthropology!
Finished reading the BOTM, which was also on my bookshelf -- Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews! Finally. XD

We are all basically addicted to books. It's okay to admit it; there are worse things to be addicted to. Throughout the years, we find ourself purchasing, receiving and inheriting more books than we have time to read and enjoy! It is time to hunker down and read the adventures on our shelves.
Challenge Dates: Kick-off is now with no defined end date
Challenge Goal: Read all unread books on one of your bookshelves...or the books in that giant, ever-growing stack by your dresser...or that box of books that you have not opened since leaving for college.
Challenge Details:
- Take a picture of one of your bookshelves/stacks/boxes/etc. which contain at least a handful of unread books. Post the photo to this challenge board.
- Each time you finish a book from the shelf, comment on the board to earn points!
- Each time you finish a shelf, comment on the board to earn EXTRA points! And do a victory dance...seriously.
Potential FAQs:
1. What happens if I don't have a giant stack of books dying to be read because I am awesome and actually read my books in a timely fashion?
First off, you ARE a badass. I hope you realize that. Secondly, you can challenge yourself by heading to the library, locating a display of random books and challenging yourself to read all books that are on that display case. Still take a picture and post here so we can cheer you on!
2. What happens if I finish this challenge early?
Onto the next stack of books! Post a new picture and keep enjoying those adventures!
3. Am I allowed to reread books if they are on the shelf?
Hell yes! I am all about the rereads. If this does not appeal to you, though, it is not required to reread books to finish the challenge.
4. Do books tied to other group activities count towards this challenge?
You bet! If they crossover, go for it!
