My husband and I just enjoyed Magic in the Moonlight with Colin Firth and Emma Stone. Very clean, humorous. Seances and attitudes about God are included. Firth is a magician. Ha!

Talking about Colin Firth, he may have been in our neck of the woods the other day. A new version of The Scret Garden is being filmed and he and Julie Walters (Molly Weasley from Harry Potter) are in it according to IMDb. We went to the Fountains Abbey World Heritage Site on Wednesday (about 20 minutes drive from home) and a film crew were just dismantling the set dressing from where they'd been filming in the Abbey ruins. They'd been filming just the day before! One to look out for in the future.

I recently finished West Cork from Audible. Though an avid mystery reader, I have never really been into true crime stories, but this was so well done. Made specifically for audio, the reporters, interviews, and music production very easily transport you to rural Ireland to seek out the truth of Sophie and Ian!

This is a Christian book written by one of my favorite authors - Tamera Alexander, who consistently pens VERY GOOD BOOKS. I would recommend anything written by her.

To Win Her Favor was a favorite of mine, and if I remember rightly, it's set on a ranch. The setting is an actual historical setting within the author's own state.
