I am in desperate need of recommendations. I have read almost every popular alpha male book I’ve seen. I am I a rut. I really am looking for those gut wrenching stories that draw you in and won’t let you put the book down. I am not into historical or fantasy. Please help!!

Janine Bosco.... THE RIVERDALE SERIES, if you choose to read the series, it's going to be all of it. I believe some thought it ended with the 1st...nope, the story goes on all the way to the last...the journal. Every character is in each nook. I strongly suggest you stay away from reviews. Some people just don't get it, they tell things they shouldn't and RUIN It! They could use the spoiler brackets to hide, or at least capital letter alerts! Anyway, if you choose this, I hope you enjoy. Please don't blame me ;D
Lesly Jones CARNAGE SERIES is one of my all time favorites, unbelieveable. Sorry... I forgot to mention the first time, I got distracted. Either way, I can't stress enough how excellent these 2 are. I could NEVER read this series again... EVER! you're safe reading my reviews, I don't put any hints what so ever. I'd go with this 1st.
Have you readLauren wrote: "Thank you they all look great,,"
I do tend to like things on the darker side of the spectrum but all of these were 4 or 5 star reads for me. If you decided to give fantasy a quick go again I would recommend
this was a phenomenal read and I’m not usually to into the genre but it had me from the getgo and it was gut wrenching.

Mariana Zapata’s books (love!), Lani Lyn Vale (although some of the ways she chooses to torture/disrupt her couples is maddening), Kristen Ashley (only ones I can’t recommend are the Honey Series books...but it’s really just not my thing), and also GA Aiken/Shelly Laurenston — yes, they’re shifter romances, but there is amazing creativity and wit there along with a ruthlessness (because shifters) that is hilarious. Also, anything by Nelson DeMille. He is an amazingly great/smart/witty writer and a lot of his characters end up with those qualities. Detective Corey is my favorite male that I wish was real! And sometimes reading non-romance books (that still contain relationships) is kind of a lovely palate cleanser.
