I think I will be going with The End of the Day Les miserable song. It wasn't the song I got in my head but can't find that one.

I think I will too!
I was thinking of reading I'll Give You the Sun for the LGBTQ+ character prompt, but it would work for this one too.

As a HUGE Backstreet Boys fan Ive got to say this is awesome! I wonder if they're any good. I just added them to my list to review later.
I'm going to be doing Shades of Grey thanks to the Monkees song of the same name. A friend of mine has been trying to get me to read Jasper Fforde for years so this seems like a good opportunity!
No Man's Land I didn't want a romance novel so I went with No Man's Land by Kevin Major. It is a short book my copy only had 250 pages. There a song called No Man's Land by Eric Bogle, and after reading the book this song now makes me cry.
I do highly recommend this book! If you are a Newfie or Canadian it could also fit a couple other prompts :)
Amanda wrote: "The first title that came to mind could also fill the "LGBTQ+" category: She's Not There: A Life in Two Genders by Jennifer Finney Boylan"This is what I'm reading for this category! It's my first book of the year, and I like it so far.
Last night, I finished a wonderful little book by Clyde Edgerton, Walking Across Egypt. I had no idea that was the title of a song. Unfortunately, I read it for my 2017 prompt, A book bought in a used book sale, and I can't use it this year...
Catherine wrote: "I'm going to be doing Shades of Grey thanks to the Monkees song of the same name. A friend of mine has been trying to get me to read Jasper Fforde for years so this seems like a good..."I LOVE that book! It's very odd. I'm waiting for the next book in his series. And waiting...

Thanks for that title! I think I'm going to read Smoke Gets in Your Eyes: And Other Lessons from the Crematory for a book about death.
I've been wanting to read Marissa Meyer's newest, Renegades, and it fits this prompt perfectly! (Bonus that my daughter just got a signed copy that I can borrow!)
I’m on the app- so I don’t know if anyone had mentioned this yet:Grist Mill Road by Christopher Yates is a thriller.
Grist Mill Road is mentioned in the opening line of Eric Church’s song The Hard Way. “Only fools would race, down Grist Mill Road, let alone in angry weather”
Marie Force has two contemporary romance series whose titles are all song lyrics: Green Mountain series and Butler, Vermont series.
I ended up changing my original choice to something else -- You Don't Know Me but You Don't Like Me: Phish, Insane Clown Posse, and My Misadventures with Two of Music's Most Maligned Tribes.Weirdly enough, the title doesn't seem to come from a Phish or ICP song, but from "Streets of Bakersfield" by Buck Owens and Dwight Yoakam. Hey, the challenge just said "song lyrics," not necessarily titles...
I'm so happy, I just realized High Voltage coming out this year is a Linkin Park song. And it does have "high voltage" in the actual song lyrics as well.
Dead to the World (Dead to the World by Nightwish), Neverland (Lost Boy by Ruth B), Seize the Night (Seize the Night by Meat Loaf)
I'm going with Bluebird, Bluebird...I think I've managed to gather through some googling that the title is indeed from a song.
SO many choice for this one. I am using "Go Ask Alice" by Anonymous from the song "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane
Monica wrote: "I read Smoke Gets in Your Eyes by Caitlin Doughty for this prompt."And here's another book which includes this song title/lyric:
Smoke Gets in Your Eyes: Branding and Design in Cigarette Packaging
by Michael Thibodeau
I just read Don’t You Cry by Mary Kubica. The title of the book is actually from a song mentioned in the book.
Jessica wrote: "I've been wanting to read Marissa Meyer's newest, Renegades, and it fits this prompt perfectly! (Bonus that my daughter just got a signed copy that I can borrow!)"Aw rats, I would love to read this one for the challenge, but I have a rule about not starting YA series until they're finished. Too hard for me to keep everything straight.
I'll Give You the Sun is a gorgeous book.
Marianne wrote: "Never let me go- Kazuo Ishiguro (Florence & the Machine song)"It's based on a fake soul song. But it could work for the prompt.
I'm reading The Best of All Possible Worlds and had been planning to count it for my "set on a different planet" read, but I just realized it fits this prompt.
I'm going to read Go Tell It on the Mountain or I Know This Much Is True. I try to pick books I have on my shelves or kindle that I still haven't read.
Yajaira wrote: "A Stranger in the House is a great read and also an Elvis Costello song."Oh I might use that one. I was also thinking of Endless Love
Nadine wrote: "Cate wrote: "Breakfast at Tiffany's would count, right?"I saw that on the list, but what is the song?"

I'm planning on reading Tess Gerritsen's Playing with Fire which shares a title with a Jennifer Nettles song (and album). Also, I saw in the sports thread someone mentioned Theo Fleury's Playing With Fire if that is more your cup of tea.

This is awesome! You could do an entire reading challenge just on "Bohemian Rhapsody" lyrics!
I have to consult the group on this one.. there is a song called "Daisy Chains" by the Go-gos. I am reading a book called "Daisy in Chains." Can I use it even though the word "it" is missing?
