Code Orange
The Orange Girl
Five Quarters of the Orange
A Clockwork Orange
Orange: The Complete Collection, Volume 1
Oranges
Blood Orange
Black and Orange
My Life in Orange
The Orange Houses
Orange Crush
Orange Mint and Honey (I actually might have to read this one too lol)
Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit
There's also Orange Is the New Black, which I haven't read but I do enjoy the Netflix show, and there's Out of Orange, which is about Alex's life.
Hope one of these work for you! :)

Also my favorite color. Here are..."
Orange Crush by Tim Dorsey. Zany Florida serial killer who kills bad people. Part of a series.
I didn't see the Black Joke by Farley Mowat on the list (it's about a ship), or Green Shadows, White Whale by Ray Bradbury, though I might have just missed them.
My favorite color is teal... may have to go with a back up of purple. But in regards to grey: Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys is one of my al l time favorites and I highly recommend it.

Tardy in Teal
The Saint and Mr. Teal
Who Killed Bob Teal? and Other Detective Stories by Dashiell Hammett
there were a few others, too. Worth a try?

My favorite color is teal (aqua/turquoise) and I have had a really hard time finding anything other than Defending TurquoiseAnyone have anything else?
Alicia wrote: "My favorite color is teal (aqua/turquoise) and I have had a really hard time finding .... Anyone have anything else?"Comment 163 had some suggestions.
My library didn't have anything good for turquoise, so I read The Deep Blue Sea for Beginners. I really enjoyed it!
If any of you Orange-lovers want to "cheat" a little and use a children's book (or are doing the Children's Lit version of the challenge) I highly recommend The Big Orange Splot.
I found some more ...Teal: The Retrieval
Genetic Teal
Little Teal Book of Trust: How to Earn It, Grow It, and Keep It to Become a Trusted Advisor in Sales, Business and Life
Turning Teal
Teal's Run - The Unbelievable Adventures of Jonathon Teal
Tales from the Teal Warrior: A Memoir
Not sure they are still any I would read either
I read Aquamarine. I cheated though - I don't have a favourite colour but I do have a huge TBR pile and needed a quick read to compensate for some huge books I have on my challenge list. I flew through this in less than an hour, and really loved it. It captures that heartbreaking sense of loss that comes when a close friend moves away. It’s written for younger readers, but I found it spoke to me as an adult too. I think it’s less a story about finding a mermaid, and more about honouring the magic of friendship.
That doesn't sound like cheating to me!!
It also sounds like the movie "Aquamarine" might be based on this book, so anyone who's seen that movie could read this book for that category also.

I read Dinner at the Blue Moon Cafe for this, it's LGBT urban fantasy (werewolf) and it was a lot of fun. I've also started Cat in an Ultramarine Scheme is anyone likes dark blue.
Germaine wrote: "Any Great books with green in the title?"I haven't read the book yet, but the movie was great The Green Mile
I liked Anne of Green Gables.
This last one is on my TBR as I've heard good things about it: How Green Was My Valley

Jasper Fforde is one of my favorite authors and he's got a book called Shades of Grey.

yes the Green Mile. totally fantastic but have tissues at hand.
Found a little book called Bluefish for this prompt. It's a quick read and is a very nice story of 13 year olds dealing with life, death, and everything else that comes with that age.

I loved Shades of Grey, such a cool concept, but I've been waiting long years for the next book in the series. Beware that there will be that problem.

Gray Mountain by John Grisham and Full Dress Gray by Lucian K. Truscott IV are both great reads. I think Full Dress Gray was originally issued as Dress Gray.

Between Shades of Grey is a great book that I read a couple of years ago.
Germaine wrote: "Any Great books with green in the title?"I was recommended the below:
The Search for the Green River Killer: The True Story of America's Most Prolific Serial Killer
Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe
Men in Green Faces: A Novel of U.S. Navy SEALs
The Girl in the Green Raincoat
The Green Mile
The White Tiger by Arvind Adiga has been a popular suggestion for the color white. I read it and was pleased enough to read another by Adiga.

Azrah wrote: "does anyone know of any YA books with BLUE in the title???"
Yes! but a lot of them are part of a series...
Sapphire Blue - book #2 in a time travel series
Ruby Blue (book #1 in a series, plus three others in this same series with "blue" in the title) - I have not read this but it has a passionate following!
Gathering Blue - sequel to The Giver
A Solitary Blue (book #3 in a series)
Reservation Blues (I'm not actually sure if this is YA)
Blue Moon - book #2 in the Immortals series (that's YA, right?)
Blue Lily, Lily Blue - book #3 in the Raven Cycle series.
Bitterblue - book #3 in the Graceling series
On Blue's Waters - this is not strictly YA, but it's a good book with nothing objectionable in it, if you like fantasy/sci-fi, and it's book#1 in the series!
Girl in the Blue Coat - WWII fiction
Words in Deep Blue - YA contemporary
Raw Blue - surfy romance, looks like it might be more "New Adult" than young adult though.
and of course the classic:
Island of the Blue Dolphins

THANK YOU so much!! i think im going to go with [book:Words in Deep Blue
I read The Blue Bear by Lynn Schooler. It's a memoir of sorts by an Alaska wilderness guide who describes his friendship with a well known Japanese photographer client and their quest to find a "blue bear," a rare subspecies of the black bear with silver-blue or gray hair.
Although I have Orange Is the New Black on my 'To Read' shelf, I'm more of a green fan, specifically lime green, but had I found a 'lime' book I would have probably used it for the 'Fruit or Vegetable' Advanced prompt.I did find on my 'To Read' list The Girl in the Green Raincoat, which was also available at my local library. I'd not read Laura Lippman before, and this was a novella that was part of a series but could also be a standalone. After reading 'Green Raincoat', I do think I'd like to read others in the series to get to know her characters a little better.

Pink
The Secret History of the Pink Carnation
The Orchid Affair (orchid is sort of a mix of pink and lavender)

I read The Red Pony by John Steinbeck. My mom is always telling me I should read East of Eden and I keep reading other Steinbeck things instead because they fit other prompts. What I've read of Steinbeck so far does not even a little bit make me want to delve into the comparatively long East of Eden.
Kim wrote: "Any ideas for pink and lavender?"Rose in Bloom (It's a sequel to Eight Cousins, which could be used for childhood classic.)
Also, I haven't read this yet, but Snow & Rose is on my TBR, and there are some other snow white and rose red retellings to choose from if you do a search.
Another from my TBR, if you're willing to count the compound word: Rosemarked
And, of course, this one gets recommended over and over on this thread and I should probably read it eventually: Lilac Girls
I read Blue Monday by Nicci French and really enjoyed it. It can also fit the prompt for a book written by two authors. It is a mystery with psychological elements and is the first book in a series. Really good.
I'm obsessed with red and went with Redshirts by John Scalzi. It was a fun sci-fi read, and I want to read more of his books.I can't imagine not having a favorite color. My family is pretty over-the-top about favorite colors (at least the girls, anyway), and we all have different ones. People walk into my office at work and often exclaim that it isn't hard to tell what my favorite color is.

I read When I Am an Old Woman I Shall Wear Purple, an anthology of poems and short stories on the topic of aging, from the perspective of aging women and their daughters.
I read Astride a Pink Horse by Robert Greer. This is a good mystery - a page-turner in some respects - with several miss directions. An Air Force Major investigating a break in at a closed site, a sheriff investigating the murder at the site, and a tech-illiterate conspiracy theory web site reporter sticking his nose into both make an interesting combination. The reason for the title was disgustingly real and something I wish I didn't know, but it was at the root of one of the character's issues.
