Nothing worse than bad weather for Rushbearing Jim.

we have three daughters, two with their own houses, and the third with a flat and they still store stuff here! :-)

I was looking for something in the attic and found two bags of baby clothes recently. I can’t even remember how or when daughter managed to get them there. Must have been between her house moves.
It’s so warm here the cigales were seesawing all night. Husband is reading the weather warning for home - I guess he’ll start worrying about his roof. 🙄

(I managed to avoid buying any, they are so tasty!!)

Is it home time yet?
Kathleen is away to school with her lunch bag for the first time, she was delighted and got ready in record time.

Yes, German Christmas cake - have fixed typo!

it's arrival on the market is one of the first signs of Christmas :-)

Not when they are in the shops in September!!! What happened to waiting till after Halloween? I've just gone to type it on another forum and I spelt it correctly, the laptop changed it! Glad it isn't me going crazy

half term end of next week. can't bloody wait."
they seem to be keeping you busy anyway :-)

I have money in one bank but I can't get it to transfer to the account so I can actually use it. It's doing my head in. I've not had money since the end of July! Will have to ring the bank today and figure out what's going on.

Apparently it's International Coffee Day today"
Google haven't marked it with a doodle, therefore I don't believe it.
I might get a coffee anyway, just to be safe

Good luck getting your money sorted Jud, that’s a long time to wait! Has anyone seen Alicia on Facebook or anything, she’s been quiet for a while, hope everything is OK. Nice to see you Patti!

That kind of trivial little thing ruins days. Hope you got it straightened out.

Sorry. Have been sorting out things, riding my new toy around the retirement community halls, doing a few things outside (darn that sunny California weather), and have been reading posts but didn't have much to say. Everything's fine or better, but the writing brain has been having trouble clicking on.

Thanks, Rosemary.
With the tiny word counts. It's supposed to be temporary while adjusting to the new meds, but I hate not having a working brain.

Barefoot teaching today.

teaching in beachwear from now on?

Pretty rare for me to come home without sand in my shoes :) in fact if it's windy I've usually got it in my ears too

I HAVE MONEY!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING EVERYONE!
What should I buy?
Whoa, just discovered that I can switch the writing from left to right to right to left, that was accidental

Baking this afternoon. Village Macmillan coffee morning combined with our usual cake club. Made fruit loaves yesterday. Today, biscuits and jam tarts, I think.

could be a large medicinal brandy needed :-)

Thanks R. Good to hear from you Alicia, sorry the meds are still affecting you, but glad you are enjoying activities. Glad you haven’t broken anything Lynne.

Sorry your own traitorous boots tripped you up. Chronic pain is no fun.

Enjoy - you have the right attitude. If you don't celebrate, then all you'll remember is the negative waiting time and stress.
Go for it!

I’ve had an actor contact me who wants to record my books as audio. The rough draft he sent me is a cracker. Hardly daring to hope it’ll work out, 😊

wow :-)

Beautiful morning here too.
I’m very stiff this morning and I have some big bruises on my knee and hip - fortunately all under my clothes. It was a gravelly hill path so my elbow is a bit scabby as well. I’m just happy I didn’t smash my phone in my bag. I’d better get moving though , man & dog are out walking and I’m supposed to go to get the bread and croissants while they are out. I’m not dressed yet. Just lolling about with a coffee as you do when on holiday.

I had a horrible shock this morning when I heard the news announcer on the radio say "Scotland is to ban snacking".
The relief felt on discovering she'd said smacking entirely justified the celebratory biscuit :)

Morning :o)
That sounds amazing Mary! I can't wait to hear your books on audio, how exciting!!
Enjoy your cake Kath (goes without saying, I'm sure)

That’s great news MT! Glad you have money Jud, my suggestion for how to spend would always be books! I’ve been very naughty with those this month. Sorry you have been a bit stiff Lynne, glad you didn’t break your phone though. Sounds a fab morning to me Kath
