Oh poor love. I am petty sure I had shingles instead of a breakdown. That looks so grim. I had a tingly face and ears but it was all across my tit and back so I suspect I got off lightly. My dad in law had it in his eye. He wears specs and I think it made him a bit moreshort sighted after. He had to change his lenses anyway. Some people find that a hayfever pill, loretadine helps. It certainly did with me but I gather it doesn't work for everyone. Might be worth a try though.
bless her, poor girl.
Cheers

Morning all, phone said -5, I didn't believe it so got in the car which said -4! Looks pretty and sparkly. Another boring admin day, then a vet visit.
Good morning, the sky is an amazing red, reflecting on the water it’s impressive. I do hope it either warms up or stays dry as I don’t fancy driving at 6 in the mornings. I shall probably walk it to daughters. It’s not my driving, it’s leaving it parked which will have me nipping to the window every time I hear a car zooming past. She’s back on light duties for a month. That was kind Desley as I know you’re e vegetarian xxx. I heard this morning that all the animals and poultry were unharmed which is better news.
I'll confess I felt a little chilly as I commuted from one room to another. But it didn't seem too bad when I went outside. All the outside taps were running freely, not iced up.

we have not yet reached that happy state
Roads were fine, the worst part again was our car park, we have our own gritter, he decided to come after we had all got here!! Still -4 when I arrived at work to find the heating isn’t working again, it was only fixed yesterday lunchtime. Had a go at the Health and Safety Director and was just told I am right!! Really annoyed with the place at the moment, expecting us to work in below freezing temps with no heating, I’ve been coughing more and chest is sore. Then my boss has been concerned about my colleague who is starting with a cold but hasn’t once asked if I’m better after being given a second course of antibiotics. Glad no animals were harmed Lynne. Sky sounds amazing.
You should cough all over him Deskey, unpleasant man!I have spent all morning wrestling with the Christmas tree. And untangling the lights. Which is definitely unfair as I took especial care to put them away carefully last year! Now I am going to risk life and limb hanging out the window to hang my new snowflake lights (my old ones died last year, after more than a decade of faithful service). Achingly tasteful, of course - no inflatable plastic Santas round here ;)
Have spent the last hour trying to get a film to load on the fire stick.I'm ready to shove the whole lot off the balcony.
I'm so ready for a holiday.

Yes indeed, don't want them to be roasted before they are to be, well, roasted; do we?
Certainly not, Will.Dave tells me I've got glitter stuck on my eyelashes.
Wait till he sees me undress for bed.
They have other animal besides turkeys. Not all going in the pot at Christmas. Husband thinks it’s all the tractors gone, which will seriously affect the running of the farm business, he drives past there most days.

The inflatables are the bane of modern existence - and I wish they were declared hazardous to small airplanes or something and made illegal. Tacky taken to a new low. IMNVHO, of course.

Can't you just go home because they have not provided a safe workplace for you?
Evening all,Nearly slipped over 3 times deicing Ally's car!
Gave my team their boxes. They seemed to like them.
Hope everyone is staying warm!
Daughter has just told me she can hear the Star Wars music from the premiere from her desk at college :)

Afternoon didn't get better. Lucy was a nightmare to get in the carrier, but fine once there. Didn't appreciate the snow blizzard I drove home in, as soon as I got from Yorkshire to Lancashire it turned to rain!
Glad you didn't fall Lindsey, and that your team liked their presents
Hello all, I hope you’re all having a great week so far. I’m currently reading Sweet Little Lies by Caz Frear, I cannot put it down! What are your top books this year?

With the tingling sensation you experienced MT, it certainly sounds like shingles. My Niece has got antiviral tablets and Co-codamol - but I can see that an antihistamine would be likely to help. I'll keep that one in mind.
Morning all,Hope everyone is well? 2 more days till i am at Centre Parcs!!! can't wait for the break!
Happy hump day all

Good morning everyone and still remember to be extra careful on those roads that need it and ordinary careful on all the other ones.
Morning all, it appears to be 3 outside, it appears to have stopped raining. Then making my christmas pudding bon bons for Sat, just in case they don't work!Which centreparcs Lindsay?
It's wet and blustery out there. Not the best weather to be on a plane. Hope it's not to bad. Still it's only a one hour flight.
Good morning, got to make the most of today. I shall have a three year old elf helping me until Christmas from tomorrow. Keeping him and the lunatic ‘pup’ calm and the Christmas tree upright is going to be a challenge. I laughed at my daughter when I asked what she wanted doing next week while I was there’s and she said Christmas tree sitting. Her two kittens are trashing it.
Morning all! Today at least seems warmer, but there's a treacherous amount of ice near my house, especially in the pre-dawn light.
No lessons this afternoon, so I left early. The kids are extremely wound up and exhausting. I'm loving the peace and quiet in my flat.
Howdy. Is it still morning? Cooking two large vats of swede and carrot for the village hall Christmas dinner - we're having local beef too, and lots of other stuff. I've also got a lentil and cashew nut loaf in the oven. That's for the veggies.Looking forward to a glass of sherry when we've dished up!
Afternoon. First of 3 shifts today, hoping we don't get too many downpours like we've just had, might need to fish my coat out!!
It doesn’t appear to have got daylight yet, the sky is that grey. The plumber fixed our heating yesterday, but we came in to a cold office again today, luckily it seems like they’ve got it working, but seems like it is fine during the day, but then can’t fire up the day after. Got a meeting this afternoon, and we appear to have been given an extra day off for Christmas, but won’t make any plans for it, suspect we will be too busy to take advantage, but we will get time in lieu if that happens. Lucy's bloods have come back with an issue, so we get to go for another text next week - seems never ending at the moment

Think thats the one my brother went to. Enjoy!
If you fancy something to do outside the Centre Parcs site Lindsay, Elvden Estate is lovely and usually quite christmassy at this time of year :)
They look like they're hopefully doing the Newfoundlands pulling Christmas trees this weekend as well for charity, they always look very festive :)
