I’ve had this one on my TBR forever and when I had the chance I suggested it to my book club who jumped at the chance to because it sounds amazing. The Night Circus is a captivating story that draws the reader right in from the start only letting go at the very last page. The book has it all from action, mystery, suspense and even romance the perfect mix creating an exceptional story. The author has created a unique story revolving around several characters that I found myself falling in love with and connecting with. I really enjoyed every aspect of the book from cover to cover. The Night Circus is beautifully written such an imaginative story and because of the way it’s written I could really imagine I was there. I honestly loved the book! The Nigh Circus is on my To read list again in the future. I highly recommend it as a must read for all ages.

I'm only half way through my book. I haven't had many chances to read this week, unfortunately. I am about to get back to it. The good news is that it's one of my favorite series (In Death by JD Robb) so it should go fairly quickly providing I'm not constantly interrupted by life LOL. I'll post my review and items collected before the deadline tomorrow though. It seems like every week that is what happens to me. I have both the paperback and the kindle version of the book I'm reading and I'm having issues finding my words because I'm reading the kindle and as I'm reading I keep forgetting which words I'm looking for LOL.

My goal for next week is to try and get the book done by Wednesday so I'm not sweating come Thursday night.

Oh and just an FYI I'll be going out of town August 20th-August 27th. I'm not sure if I'll have any time to read and/or internet. What do we do during times like that?

Ok I just re-read the rules and it looks like if I don't get the weekly book read by the deadline I can still claim the items but our team won't get the bonus items. Bummer. I'll do my best to figure out what I'll read and get it read once I'm back in town but it might be pushing it. I'm really hoping my friend gets her internet all set before I get there. The town is so small it doesn't have a library and I don't think they have any WiFi hotspots. There are only about 800 people that live in Drayton.

Review
Not a favorite book in the series. On one hand I was caught up in Eve and Roarke's relationship and the interactions between them and the secondary characters but on the other hand I was struck by the craziness that was the plot. I had a hard time suspending my disbelief and just going with it. I thought Eve's hypothesis in what was going on seemed to come out of nowhere and that she tied it to her seemingly unrelated childhood repeatedly felt odd. As a matter of fact her emotions seemed extreme most of the time (more so than normal.)
Overall, I would say this was a decent book but one that I probably wont remember down the line.

Review:One of the best books in the series, in my opinion. Mary Ann is such an interesting character and Manolito is awesome. How they come to be a couple makes for a great story. Loved it!!

No, this is my first time reading the series. I've been steadily reading 1 a month. Luckily my library has them all as ebooks. I've slowly become obsessed with it!

I really really liked this one except for the creepy plot about the teenaged daughter of his friend Michael. Why do male writers have to sexualize 17 yr. old girls!! Ugh. I was doing fine until the end. But other than that, it totally engrossed me.
