Chapter 9 - (view spoiler)[ 4 words: Where is the Warden??? While I appreciate how much Paige needed to recover and how she was tasked with warning the community (and failing miserably), I really just want to see her get back together with him. Like 6 chapters ago.

Speaking of her failure to get the word out - maybe it is just an overly drawn out lead, but why doesn't she just write a pamphlet? Seems like everyone likes them, and she already knows the characters to get it done.

Chapter 17 - (view spoiler)[ What? the Warden is back, Paige even had to rescue him, and he doesn't show any damn emotion toward her?!?!?! I'm upset.

Chapter 24 - (view spoiler)[ FINALLY!! We are treated to a little taste of the Paige and Warden we have wanted all along!

I'm glad Paige has decided to go against Jaxon in the ring. He is a jerk and a jailor. I'm also very suspicious of his actions - where does he go, where is he spending all his money? There is something there just below the surface, I just can't put my finger on it. Is he the Bone and Rag Man? It wouldn't be too hard to have 2 personalities if one is never seen. (hide spoiler)]

Finished - (view spoiler)[ OK, well I guess we should have all seen Jaxon's betrayal coming. Part of me really hoped that once he stopped being so angry about his defeat in the ring, he would see Paige as an excellent ally to have for his business (since that is all he cares about). But no.

I'm also a little confused about where things stand with Paige and Warden. Perhaps I was reading over those sections too quickly hoping for some more steamy kissing. I want them to be together. Will he have to become mortal? Will she become something more than human? Anything seems possible in these types of books. I'm just ready for it to be revealed already!!!

First quarter - (view spoiler)[Paige has managed to return to London but most of the other humans were murdered. I'm so glad Ivy is safe at least. I hope Michael appears soon. Paige seems so against Jaxon rn but we haven't seem him acting as despicably as this hatred would warrent, yet. I can understand why he strangled her when she was masked and mute during the previous book, which is one of her reasons for this new dislike, and I can also understand why he wants her back under him, where he deems she belongs. I could see why Paige wouldn't be super eager for this but not why she is so sure she means nothing to him beyonf her gifts, though. Hector, however? Yuck!! (hide spoiler)]
