Jane | 1438 comments As usual I’ll take part in this. This year I’ll start a bit late as I am out of the house. I’m hoping to start only 2 hours late but it depends on the traffic.

My goal is to read for about 16 hours, hoping to read 800 - 1000 pages.

Jane | 1438 comments 1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
From a very small village called Tørsbøl in the south of Denmark

2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
Dragon Bones and Raven's Shadow by Patricia Briggs.

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
Not so much the snacks which there are plenty of, more the meals. I hate cooking but my sister is taking part with me and she supplies the meals.

4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I love canoing and there is nothing better than being in the middle of nowhere, sitting on the edge of a river with a book.

5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?
I have participated a lot of times but there is nothing I will do differently.

Jane | 1438 comments Having travelled all morning I'm a bit late to the party. I will start with something light and cosy. And I might just read some kind of short story between each book.

I Dream of Twila A Wicked Witches of the Midwest Short by Amanda M. Lee I Dream of Twila: A Wicked Witches of the Midwest Short by Amanda M. Lee 108 pages

Jane | 1438 comments First book finished:

I Dream of Twila A Wicked Witches of the Midwest Short by Amanda M. Lee I Dream of Twila: A Wicked Witches of the Midwest Short by Amanda M. Lee 108 pages ★★★★

I really like these book. I prefer them in small doses though because snarkyness and getting at each other get a bit much if I read more than one at the time

Next book

Dragon Bones (Hurog, #1) by Patricia Briggs Dragon Bones by Patricia Briggs

Jane | 1438 comments I have now been up for over 20 hours and need some sleep. I finished my second book of the day.

Dragon Bones (Hurog, #1) by Patricia Briggs Dragon Bones by Patricia Briggs

Patricia Briggs really writes great fantasy. I enjoyed this book and I'm eager to read the next book in the Hurog Duology.

Jane | 1438 comments It’s 7am and I’ll start with a cosy witchy mystery. Magic & Mystery by Annabel Chase.

Jane | 1438 comments Finished Magic & Mystery (Starry Hollow Witches #2) by Annabel Chase Magic & Mystery by Annabel Chase. 193 pages

I just read the first book in this series a few days ago. I enjoy the MC Ember Rose and her daughter Marley. Marley is a 10 year old that is way smarter than her mom but at the same time very dependent. It is cosy mystery with witches, vampires, werewolves and a lot of other paranormal beings. It is definately a series I’ll continue to read.

Next book, something completely different.

The Amityville Horror by Jay Anson The Amityville Horror by Jay Anson

Jane | 1438 comments The Amityville Horror by Jay Anson The Amityville Horror by Jay Anson 239 pages

Not my kind of scary. But it was still okay.

One hour to go so I’ll try and find a short book. A light fluffy one after all that demon stuff in The Amityville Horror.

Only about half an hour left, I will start a book and see how far I get.
