No because they were both Aussie authors and had to fit the spell it out!
I will do at least one of them:)

Bad luck! I won't matter to be a day late anyway. You'll read it over the readathon weekend and be done with it :)

Of course. You can't read what you can't find:)

Fortunately The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is short and can be read in a day whereas the older book was 1600 pages!
I've taken it off my tbr now :)

1600!!!! What on earth was it?

I might have got confused with an electronic version I found that was 16000 locations long - not the same thing at all, but 4 times longer than a typical ebook.
My next oldest book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz pub 1900, is only 154 pages & easily available, so much better (especially since I only had 1 day left to read it).

I noticed that too! I can't believe it is less than a month until Christmas! This year has flown!

Not a hugely successful challenge, but at least I managed to read a couple of AA. The first of which was too bizarre for my taste, and the second, Dissonance, was absolutely wonderful, I would recommend it easily, especially for those who like stories about dysfunctional families.
P The Pilo Family Circus by Will Elliott AA 3 ★
O Dissonance by Stephen Orr AA 4 ★
L Summertime by Vanessa Lafaye
L Où es-tu ? by Marc Levy 4 ★
E Et après ... by Guillaume Musso
N Love in a Cold Climate by Nancy Mitford

It sure is! In 2 weeks time, we'll be in our transition program at work, (Flying Start), to help assist the students prepare for 2018, i.e. our classes for next year. Eeep! It doesn't seem all that long ago we were in the same program for this year's classes!
And great effort Valerie! :)

Well, I failed the 'Hard' challenge with only 7 books done, but the spell it out is done and one each from the two tasks, so I have not done too badly for a low reading month.

Well I finished my last book at 11.00 this morning so technically it wasn't in November. Not in Australia anyway:) However Goodreads thinks it is still November so I am going with that!

Thankyou:) And next month I must not keep reading books which are not on my challenge list.......
Haha! Hard isn't it! I try to finish challenges a few days early so I can read two or three non challenge books! I managed that this time as ALL my challenges were complete :)
This the first time I have not finished my challenges in plenty of time. It was partly because I had left a few too many of my Spring Challenge books until the end.

There was one less day Brenda. You are quite right. See Michelle - if there had been 31 days we would have been just fine!
