Hi Avid Reader and Geek Girl,

Good job on already getting one done! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I look forward to seeing what else you get done.

Thanks for picking for me! Not sure where I'm going yet but great options for this month.
Hi Stacie!I finished Get It from your list for me. It was sweet, I enjoyed it :)
I hope to get to one or two more from your picks this month. Thanks for the great choices!
Sonja, I'v finished my first pick My Lady Jane
I really enjoyed the style of narration. It's a really creative and original book and so funny. 5 Stars.
Avid Reader and Geek Girl,I finished another couple of books
: really cool book (★★★). I will probably go through the rest of the series in the upcoming months.
: quite an emotional read this one, which is exactly what I look for in my romance books (★★★★). It's not 5 stars because I found the writing style a bit confusing. Sometimes it was difficult to understand whether the scene/dialogue was happening in the present or was a flash-back from the past.Thank you again for the great picks!

Awesome! I'm glad you're enjoying them.

Unfortunately book #4 was a total fiasco (★).
The story seemed interesting, this is why the book was in my to-read list. By the end of the book, however, I was dumbstruck by the poor writing and the total lack of background research.
The story involves two families from the Italian and the Irish mafia, and the author uses the Italian language often. As an Italian native speaker, it was impossible for me to overlook the countless mistakes, which in the end totally spoiled my reading experience.
For those interested in further details, here is an excellent review.

This was one I haven't read and I'll take your word for it, as I took exactly 1 semester of Italian in high school
Sonja, I have finished my second pick Do You Want to Start a Scandal
I love the humour in Tessa Dares books 3 stars
Hi Carmen, I just finished The Hating Game and I LOVED it! Thank you so much for recommending it because I never would have found it otherwise!
I finished my first book. I'd say a 3.5 stars, not what I was expecting, definitely NOT YA. It was a good book, much more sex than I was expecting.

RomanticBookWorm, Made it through one so far at last!
It was touch and go there for a while and I almost DNF, but I muscled through
. It started out cute, but then kind of got hoakie. Anyway, I started
over the weekend and am enjoying it so far! I'm also annoyed that life keeps preventing me from reading! LOL!

in just under 30 hours! It was SO good! Thank you for the recommendation! I totally would not have read it if you hadn't suggested it! I'm on to
now, but my Kindle is telling me I've already read it??? Well if I did, it's been a while so I'll read it (again really?) again! :)UPDATE: Turns out I have read it before, but it was over a year and a half ago so I think I'll read it again!
Sonja, I have finished another pick Firelight
I thought this was going to be a typical romance set in the regency period of London, but it is soooo much more!

Any idea when the sign up for Dec's pifm will be? I was in bed and I was jolted thinking oh no I missed it. Haha, holidays are coming I was fearful that it was posted early and I never noticed. You know when you are obsessed a little too much.

I'm really glad you liked your picks Carina.
Sonja, I have finished my last pick for this month The Breakdown
This has a good story-line but it's very predictable, but it was good to see how it all unfolded.

That's great, Heather. I am glad you enjoyed some of the picks!
JojoI wasn't as successful this month as I'd hoped to be. I ended up reading about 3.5 books.
I really enjoyed The Princess. I read that on vacation and it was great!
Lone Wolf unfortunately was a bit disappointing. Although not as disappointing as The Uninvited which I didn't even bother finishing. I used to really enjoy her books but lately they aren't doing it for me.
Right now I'm in the process of reading Sea of Love and that's going really well, so at least I'll end on a high note.
I wish I got more read because I know there were some good ones on the list. Time, however, just got away from me. I hope you had a great month reading. Happy Holidays!

I'll post the books I manage to read this month from your picks here as I go along. I've already got one in the bag.
✩ Mickey Mouse
TBR: The Negotiator by Avery Flynn (02/11) ★★★★ - totally loved this one. A fake fiancee storyline where a workaholic sees the trees for the forrest when the adventurous nomad makes him look beyond spreadsheets and deals.
✩ Daisy Duck
TBR: The Surprise by Alice Ward (29/11) ★★ - I just wasn't feeling this book. It started off well with the two characters meeting by happenstance. But there after it fell flat and I was not enjoying it. It also seemed to drag on even though it was a short book. Oh well.
