Have you ever read Agatha Christie's books? they are also detective books, a little different because they are older, but I like the Hercule Poirot ones, maybe you like it too :)

Thank you for the recommendation, Camila. I have never read Agatha Cristie's books, but I'll put them in my TBR. Which one should I read first?

I'm reading The Giver Quartet and the Amulet series for #ayearathon. I'm also halfway through Ready Player One, which I started before I even found this book club!
currently reading the half life of molly pierce, and it's really good, loving it and I totally think everyone should read it :)
Ready player one, which I'll finish tomorrow. (Haste makes waste) I'm kind of unsure on my next read. I have so many good ones.

I've read the first two books as well, and the second book wasn't what I wanted it to be so I haven't continued on with it, but the first book was so promising that eventually I know I'll finish the series. Mermaids/sirens are my favorite creatures to read about :)

I actually have been having a super slow reading week so far, and haven't made a dent in the book at all! I read like 10 pages, so I cannot really give a good answer. I'll let you know once I have hit the 100 page mark. That is generally when I start forming an opinion! :)
I'm currently reading Gates of Thread and Stone. I'm only 100 pages into and I'm loving it so far. It came out aug 5 2014.
I am reading Silver Shadows and then once I am done with that I will read Ready Player One before August ends!
I'm currently reading Unwind by Neal Shusterman, finally! I'm not even 100 pages in and I am enjoying it a lot and really want to know what is going to come of Lev, Risa and Connor.
I'm currently reading Time Riders by Alex Scarrow. It's a bit slow and I'm not really loving it but my friend lent it to me about 2 months ago and I feel bad for keeping it so long and kind of just want to get it out of the way. I'm also listening to the audio book of Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver. I went into this series with really high expectations which, in my opinion, it hasn't lived up to, but I am still enjoying ot a lot.

I got it in May(during exam week actually, because I had nothing better to do than go to book stores all day xD). Didn't start reading yet but It's pretty high on my list maybe September or October TBR if I don't fall in love with too many books/series before then x)
