Ha! I'm sure it's not going to be a great movie. I'm planning on going into this expecting a campy B-rated movie! :D LOL

Scott (scottyp81) | 84 comments I'm going to start Skelton Crew a couple days early. I tried to read Inferno by Dan Brown in between Thinner and Skelton Crew but I can't do it. Inferno is awful and I can't finish it.

Latasha (latasha513) | 11983 comments Ok that's fine. I'll make the thread soon. I've been really busy lately.

Latasha (latasha513) | 11983 comments sorry for slacking, thread's up:

Barbara Senteney (trollbridgeblogger) I am reading Sleeping Beauties, by Stephen and Owen King, and The Fury by John Farris at the same time trying to give a friend a chance to catch up for a buddy read.

Myst | 408 comments I didn't get to Thinner yet. Too many other books and events (and the lump of lead that Sleeping Beauties was). But I'm about to catch up on the tbr, so hopefully can pick up Thinner soon.

Blah...just checked library system, I need to request it from a different library.

Ginger | 3931 comments Hey guys, I ended up watching "Thinner" this weekend. Oh my, it's as campy and corny as I thought it would be. And they changed some stuff up and I kept saying, "That didn't happen!" the whole time I watched it with my husband. ;) hahaha

Myst | 408 comments I finally got a copy and I cannot suspend my disbelief...

He's lost 40 pounds, and is still wearing his regular "big man" clothes? Surely unless he's using elastic waist pants his pants would've fallen down 20 pounds ago.

Especially when most of the weight being lost so far sounds like it's in his belly region and doesn't seem to be having the 'skin rolls' that so many people who lose a lot of weight get that might help keep his pants up.

This is not a morbidly obese person who is 500 pounds where losing 40 wouldn't necessarily make a huge change in size.
