Ha! I would be doing the same thing! I had no idea that people made videos of opening boxes of books.
It's usually opening of book boxes, I found him because we both are Nocturnal Readers, but for something special... well, we all wanted to see!
Someone was asking for a NetGalley thread, so I thought I'd post in here to bump this up. I've also moved it from the Off Topic section to the Novels section. I hope this helps!

Since joining the NG ranks a couple of months ago, I have been reading some great horror books from there. Here are a couple of books so far that I have read from there.
by John Everson - this was such a great spooky read and here is my review on it. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
and I read this shark book which is probably the best one I have ever read:
by Michael Cole and here is my review on it:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
If you all are looking for a horror book to read and review on NetGalley, check out Pandora Reborn, my YA horror novel. It is about a group of teens in a small Colorado town who battle an evil witch. Here are the links below. I'd appreciate you leaving a review here and on Amazon, if you choose to download it.

I didn't even know the thread existed until about a 1/2 hour ago. :)
That's cool you've got a copy already. Hope you enjoy it. :)

I'm jealous you got to read Thresher, Marie, I wanted to grab it but took a bit too long and when I went back it was already archived!
Rachel wrote: "I will grab a copy of your book John, thanks."Sounds good, Rachel. Hope you enjoy it. :-)
Rachel wrote: "I'm jealous you got to read Thresher, Marie, I wanted to grab it but took a bit too long and when I went back it was already archived!"That is too bad, Rachel! I have been checking out when NG will be archiving books and if I see something that I think I will want to read, I just go ahead and grab it before they archive it, because once it is on your device, it will stay there whether they archive it or not. :)
Just finished this book and it was an amazing horror story along with quite a bit of raw emotions.

I saw a pretty cool graphic novel on Net Galley: Vertigo: A Celebration of 25 Years which was put together by Neil Gaiman. I love Vertigo comics as the Sandman series was my introduction to graphic novels.
I requested it this morning.
Erin wrote: "Char wrote: "This one caught my eye this morning: The Last"That one sounds pretty good."
I thought so too.
I literally have more books, between Kindle and paperbacks, that I won’t live long enough to read them all. So why do I keep getting more from NetGalley??

Netgalley addiction is almost as bad as "buying" books. lol :) I have way more than I will ever read too, but I keep doing it! At least we will all be addicted together! lol :)

Stories of a Condemned Soul (Volume 1) by Nathaniel Connors
This one is short and I am autoapproved for BooksGoSocial so I figured why not.
Perfect Prophet by Diane M. Johnson
Interesting plot here with Satanism, and I'm always down for more women in horror!
Hometown by Matthew Keville
Sounds like it could be great to read this month since it takes place in the fall!
The latest from M.R. Carey is available: Someone Like Me. He's the author of The Girl With All the Gifts, so I had to request it. I also got approved for The Castle on Sunset, which is a non-fiction book that intrigued me.
