Finished! Review: Wow. If that book was only the introduction to the series, I cannot believe the amazingness of the next two books. They will be amazing. I feel like I can only give this book 4 stars because, if the next 2 books are better, then they will be the ones deserving of 5 stars, but I won't go against my gut, and I will be giving this one, yet again, 5 stars. I'm so pleased I decided to re-read this one, so I can finally proceed to finish the series before Acofas, which is out in May. I'll be finished a month before, which should give me enough time to absorb the story, and to fully hype myself back up.
You have no idea how happy I am to be finally a part of this fandom. I will be participating like crazy.
While Feyre's type of character typically annoys the heck out of me, I couldn't help but go along with it because of the need for her personality. This book contained everything I love: medieval-ish setting, fancy clothes, fantasy, aspects of superpowers, and most of all the (view spoiler) Anything involving these things I will love. I can't wait to get more involved with these incredible characters and this world, and to see her (view spoiler) All I want to say, or I'll be ranting forever.

Or will that be the 3rd book?

Or will that be the 3rd book?"
I'll start the series with you on the 17th if you'd like.
I think there is another start on the 17th.
I know im reading book 2 in the 7th March and book 3 on the 13th March so maybe we can do something huge xD

this is all over then place xD as long as I stay on schedule I'll be alright with the updates. Which I should do because I'm excited for them haha

I wanted a better visual image/explanation of that too.
Everyone thinks the start's slow XD I really didn't get that impression. It's setting up so we know her family background, but the book was pretty fast-paced to me! I seriously cannot wait for the next 2.

I didn't like it but I'm going to continue the series since I have the second book. It could just be a slow start to the series. :/
Apparently it is a slow start. Everywhere I've heard that the first one's bad compared to 2 and 3.

That's good then since I have a BR for the next two next month. If they were as bad as book 1 I might have had to DNF them. :(

No. I'm reading it with Ryn on the 24th and the 1st of April. But I will probably try to slip in A Court of Wings and Ruin in March since it starts with a vowel. :)

I have several big ones next month too. I'm looking forward to the challenge. :)
Ah wow this thread's going to be messy XD At least I'm reading it first because I won't have the mess. And Leelyn and I are so keen to start XD At least I'm reading it at the start so I don't have proper time to get behind. And my prior reads are short :D
I'm kind of scared XD These 2 at the start and the Sanderson at the end.
And aren't vowels easy to read for?? A is easy haha. But we definitely got C covered :p Got too many of them.

Yeah that's why I want to read it in March. Plus I don't know if it will count for the April challenge. :)

I have so many books that I have to get creative with for next month. I think I had like 10 B's and 10 C's and 15 M's. Thank god we can use other editions. :S

And this deal wit..."
I agree. The deal with (view spoiler)

It's going to be a headache for her in book 2 I'm sure. lol.

Better not annoy me otherwise I'll be annoyed XD (view spoiler)

I was torn. I couldn't decide if it was a (view spoiler) or not. lol.

And that was a very intense cliffhanger."
I completely agree. Her family is horrendous!!!

I think some of them have shapes as well and maybe some have feathers and such? Oooh or they are painted on???

As soon as she thought about it I knew it was, although it was weird how (view spoiler)

And she never ever tells them to get over themselves. You've basically got every single type of person in that one family. Nesta: stuck-up haughty bitch.
Elaine: sweet outspoken passive gentle (but also so oblivious)
Father: basically absent
Feyre: Defiant outgoing reckless.

Na they're not paint, they keep trying to pull them off.

Or are we just waiting to change the date for this thread?
