I agree. I love reading these books - the atmosphere and the background as well as for the stories. I always pre-order the novels for my kindle and they are a lovely surprise when they pop up .

I have the entire library of books written by both Dick and Felix. These books are what got me into reading in the first place so I'm ever grateful! Love them all!
I would love to hear your thoughts on this one! I'm so pleased that you mentioned this is coming out soon! Thanks again Rhondda!

Kerri_M | 787 comments Finished my first The Fixer by Joseph Finder

This one was an audiobook, and it was narrated by the same guy who narrates the Reacher books. He read in exactly the same style, to the point that I started noticing how much alike Lee Childs and Joseph Finders writing style was.

To the point that I ended up googling both of them, and looking at their pictures, to make sure it wasn't a Superman / Clark Kent thing!

Joseph Finder Lee Child

Yes, me too! I've had to make an executive decision to choose only a few series to read in quick succession as I can't remember well enough if they're months or more apart! Perhaps my feather brain needs dusting??

Judith I've finally finished the measly 200 pages of Whose Body? I've left a short review at hhttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I found it irritating in so many respects. While it was interesting as an early example of the genre it does not weather time well. The dialogue was tedious, characters were largely unsympathetic. It portrays the ugly side of the British class system Looking forward to moving on to other titles.
