Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 92 comments Oh well, didn't quite make it...

The challenge is to read six books which help celebrate events in September, October and November.

5/6
I know, drawing a loooong bow with some of these....
1. Father's Day is celebrated in September in Australia. Read a book which features a father as a character. The Good Daughter 5★s

2. September is Healthy Aging month. Read a book which is at least ten years old.

3. Of course we all know Halloween is in October. Read a scary thriller or a chilling suspense novel, I Know a Secret 5★s

4. October 13th is English Language Day. Read a book written by an English author. The Accident on the A35 by Graeme Macrae Burnet (well, Scottish) 5★s
5. November 5th is Guy Fawkes Night in the UK. Read a historical mystery. The Disappearance of Adèle Bedeau 5★s
6. Also in November is Melbourne Cup Day. Read a book which has a horse in the story or on the cover. The Good Teacher 5★s calling it crime (there's an arson investigation in there somewhere, LOL)
