Crystal Lynn | 29 comments Once again I don't have much on this book. My friend found this book at value village but didn't get it, and now she's trying to find it.

The book has a white cover and she remembers a tree but not sure if there is anything else.

All she remembers about this book is : A man invites a lady over for dinner. She sits at the end of a long table and notices that he isn't eating. She makes a comment about it and it turns out he's a vampire.

I know this is a long shot but you guys have helped me before!

Michele | 2488 comments Paperback or hardback? Does she recall if the book was aimed at YA or adult readers? Anything about the age(s) of the main characters?

Jillian (jilliangs) | 48 comments I don't remember that scene specifically, but Stephen King's 'Salem's Lot is about vampires and at least one edition features an eerie tree on the cover, so it might be worth a shot.

'Salem's Lot by Stephen King

Crystal Lynn | 29 comments No it is not the Steven King book, thanks though.

Michele it was a large paper back. The book seemed to be a young adult book but it could also be romance. She remembers the girl was younger but does not know an exact age.

i figured finding this book would be a long shot, but this group has found books with less lol.

Tab (tabbrown) | 5084 comments These are stretches, but:
Crave Crave (The Clann #1) by Melissa Darnell
Dark Companion Dark Companion by Marta Acosta
White Space White Space (Dark Passages, #1) by Ilsa J. Bick

Was the dinner part something your friend read while skimming the book. Or, was that part mentioned in the blurb on the back of the book?

Courtney (canadiangirlcb) | 13 comments The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause has a tree in the background. I can't remember any dinner scenes, but I haven't read it in ages.
