Miz (marryallthepeople) | 35 comments I'm hoping that a few of you will forgive me but I'm thoroughly enjoying the 'trashy' book Down the Rabbit Hole Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny by Holly Madison by Holly Madison of Girl's Next Door fame. Just the right enough of girly scandal for me!!

She surpassed all expectations. Roxanne Gay is, in fact, the shit. I have been reading her work on The Rumpus for years, and suspected as much.

I want to read this SO bad. I loved The Girls Next Door!

I'm coming up to the part where the three girls want to leave the mansion. It's fascinating hearing the background and how much Holly and Kendra hated each other!!

And why they were never asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement is BEYOND ME! But I'm so glad they weren't :)

Third March Sister (thirdmarchsister) | 62 comments I just finished The Shepherd's Crown and, as it is the final Discworld novel, it gave me Feelings. I would not recommend reading this one until after the four other Tiffany Aching adventures. It also helps if you've read some of the Witches books in the Discworld series that show what Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg got up to in their own adventures. I recommend it and yet, I feel so sad that Sir Terry is gone and will write no more.

Susan I haven't gotten up to this book yet. I agree it is very sad that he is no more. But, I will savor the books yet to read all the more.

I hear you! And, I think at some point I'm going to reread all of his books, or at least interweave them with all the new stuff I want to read. *Sniffle*

Anne Libera | 29 comments I have it but just can't bring myself to start the very last one I get to read for the first time.

I'm in the same position. And I thought I Shall Wear Midnight (Discworld, #38; Tiffany Aching, #4) by Terry Pratchett ended SO beautifully that I'm not even sure I want to read more Tiffany. In the same way I thought Thud! was so perfect that I found Snuff really disappointing.
