I'm super excited for August, this will be my first serious challenge.

I will not be reading that much on the 28th of August because I will be celebrating my birthday with my family.

Yeah I think I should've switched last month because I've read 20 books or so. I'll be going out of town from the 11-14 so I won't be getting as much done besides audiobooks. And on the 18th I'm moving into my new apartment. Classes for me start on the 28th but I don't have any on Monday!

Here's the point breakdown:

Points:
• 5 points for every 1000 pages read.
• 1 point for buddy read of a book with 200-449 pages.
• 2 points for buddy read of a book with more than 450 pages
(Bonus points for buddy reads will only be given if the buddy read has taken place in our group, and the book read is over 200 pages.)

Soooo how does this work with all the different challenges? Is it each challenge Separate? Or all the points goes toward the team?

Yes each challenge is separate. If you sign up for all of them though you'll have an overall MMC score. And so you could win a challenge individually or win in the overall MMC.

Basically the more challenges you enter the higher your overall score and chance to win the MMC.... at least that's what I've gathered. I'm pretty new here myself! This will be I think my fourth challenge?

Yes so the score you post in this challenge will be combine with the other challenges and that makes up your total. I posted the new point breakdown on the review thread so we can map out more books with BRs.

That's totally fine! I made a plan a while ago so I could line my books up between Harry Potter blocks and the reading bee challenge

Just so you guys know I'll be starting Eragon the audiobook on the 1st along with ash and quill. I should finish Ash and quill in a day and I'll be spreading my audiobook over a couple days or a week.

Just managed to finish the last book I couldn't read in time last month, so I'll post that for the relevant pages and then onto all the BRs for this month! @_@

Woohoo! I should have Ash and Quill done in about 2 hours. And it's not the last book of the series so I'm super worried! :O

Two more! Apparently it's a series of five! I could've sworn it was a trilogy too. Like if there's two more books that means more time for my little booklovers to die :(((((((

I was so certain it was a trilogy and that we would get our epic conclusion too ._.

The book was crazy and good. I'm kind of glad it's not over because this kind of war/take over would take much more than three books to happen. I think four books would've done it with how the last one left off.

I hope you enjoy the first two Sharon! This has become one of my favorites.

I finished last night and am starting today. I'm also 68% done with Eragon so I'll probably finish this weekend.

I'm working the GBRs and then I will try finish my other BRs. Today is a holiday in Canada so lots of reading can be done.

I'm working through the GBRs (4/6 done so far! :D) mostly, but I'm slowly going through and I'm about to start as well.

Awesome! Sarah messaged Rae earlier today too so maybe we'll hear from her soon. I would do some of the GBRs but I haven't been able to find them ☹️
