Thought I'd be nice to try gifs again since the chat thread from last year is where I learned how to use them. ^-^
Heather wrote: "Book buyer have you planned any buddy reads yet?"Not yet. I think I might take a break next month as I've been really bad at keeping my BRs for the last few months. :(
Carolyn wrote: "I got a question: do we post all of our reviews in the same threads?"No there will be individual review threads for each challenge.
Andrea wrote: "I'm surprised there isn't a nonreading challenge this year!"Sarah explained in one of the threads (Can't remember which one now) that she was too busy to do that one this year. :)
I'm going to miss it though. I was making note of 'weird'/'unusual' covers for it. :(
No. There will be one review thread for everyone for each challenge. The threads just haven't been made yet. :)
I was relieved by the fact that there won't be a non-reading challenge this year. I don't think I have the mental strength for it anymore LOL
Hey everyone! Extremely excited to do another MMC. August is my birthday month. So I have things to do while I wait to turn 24. Haha.
Not sure how much reading I'll actually get done, but I'm excited to plan out some books for this. :)
@Tati; the one last year borderline ruined my life, I was constantly on my phone looking for stuff and I think I just gave up after a while lol
@Connie, I know! I was exactly the same!During meetings I'd be looking for covers rather than paying attention to what was going on

This is how I feel every month now.Look at all these books to read!

O.o There are too many books I need to read!!

Why can't I find a book to read!
Carolyn wrote: "What was the non-reading challenge?"Each day we'd have a different task.
It could be cover pieces, and then we'd have to find the book the cover piece belonged to. Or it could be an item on the cover (any book with a ladder on the cover, for instance). Or we'd have to find the book based on a few clues.
Carolyn wrote: "Whoa. I'm glad we are not doing that this year!"It was crazy! Some of them were really, really, really, hard to find

That's for sure, but it was also super fun!

Me every time I go to my library haha.
@Heather; there's a lot of books on your Want to Read shelf that I could easily get access too! I think I counted 12 or so! I'll make a little list and get back to you!
This has made me pretty excited to get back to reading, I've made a list in my journal of all my owned physical books to read and I think I could get through a lot of them next month!
Finished my planning for the Harry Potter challenge and I'm almost done with the Reading Bee. Next I just have to wait to see if I can get a copy of all the GBR books. I own at least one of them so I'm happy about that. :)
Okay thanks. Just have to make rows, right? And will the mods take care of all the points we have?
Yeah you can go across, up/down or diagonal. And yeah I believe the mods will add all the points on the review thread
Anyone know of a short book (under 200 pages) that would work for Moaning Myrtle - Read a book which features ghosts OR Read a book in which a teenager dies. ??

Thanks, Sarah and Bookbuyer. I'm between Ellie Jordan, Ghost Trapper (Ellie Jordan, Ghost Trapper #1) by J.L. Bryan and Haunting Joy (Book 1) by Lena Goldfinch. So appreciate the help. I was seriously stuck with that category. :/
