Yeah I do the same thing! It definitely helps to make progress since some of the parts are slower but still super interesting.

Yeah I just started audiobooks this month XD I tried before but couldn't concentrate. With all of my driving lately though I decided to give one a shot, and it worked well! Decided to pick Eragon up on audio and holy moly it helped so much! I know I probably wouldn't read it otherwise XD

Oh wow XD I imagine it will feel like an accomplishment when I finally get through it. The first one dragged a little for me.
Andrea wrote: "What's the fifth book supposed to be?"That's just the thing, as far as I remember, there were no major loose ends after the 4th book (it did piss me off, though)
The last I checked, the fifth book is supposed to be set in the same world but not be an immediate sequel. More like a companion novel.
I"m doing well in the individual challenges I'm almost top 10 in the Reading Bee. I'll have to wait for scores to be updated to see where I can in the Harry Potter challenge. :)
C.P. wrote: "There doesn't seem to be a lot of chatting on any of my goodreads groups right now."Weird. People must actually be enjoying their summer outdoors. Or at least not on Goodreads. :(
Summer here in Denmark has gone missing. So cold and windy and the leaves are turning brown already :(

Still pretty hot here in Canada.
C.P. wrote: "Is this early for that, Irene? I don't know much about weather in Denmark."Yes, it's a month early or so :( We literally didn't a day with summer weather in all of July o.O
The weather is like that in the UK, probably a little less rain and 1-2C degrees colder, if I had to guess.

I think I would prefer that kind of summer over the one we had. It's been blazing hot and really humid. :(
Where in Canada are you? :) North, South? I can already feel my seasonal affective disorder creeping up :S Too soon for that. It's gonna be a looong winter!
Luckily, I'm going to Prague next month and it's supposed to be summery over there.
You probably always want the opposite of what you have 😂
My summer has been hot, humid, and hit. Our winter this past year was warm, like in the 70s-80s. My group's team chat has been really chatty. And we are in the lead so far, for the mediums!
I'm in Southern Ontario. We apparently are having typical BC weather. Is be happy to give it back to them.I'm sorry to hear your SAD is kicking in. I have it too so I empathize. :(
I hope you like Prague! ^_^
My team is in last place (serious) but one of our members hasn't been able to post anything yet so hopefully when she does we'll move up. :)
Carolyn, where are you? Bookbuyer, oh okay :)
_I'm on a fun team, we're in second place. That's about to change though because tomorrow starts the 7 in 7 readathon, so I'm gonna read seven books next week...
Bookbuyer wrote: "O.o that's a lot of books."Yeah. Especially after not having read over 8 in a month since last September!
I'm gonna try my best though!
I think our summer has been pretty mild. Some hot days, but not too bad. Good luck with your seven in seven!
You lot are doing so well! I don't know but as a teen in her summer holidays I'd have thought I'd be reading much more then I am ...I'm on the 3rd book in the Maze Runner series what about you lot?
Sabaha, I'm reading a variety of things, haha. I see on your profile that you like horses. I have horses and ride. Do you like reading horse books?
I'm in South Carolina where our winters are like springs. Summer is awful. High 90s until November. My team is first in the medium teams.
Overall I'm doing pretty well for the challenges but I'm having a slow weekend since I'm visiting my boyfriend.
C.P. that's great 🎉👏 Yes!! I do love horses and I hope to own one to in the future 💙 How many do you have? And for the books suprisingly no 😶 I've read War horse by Micheal Morpurgo which I LOVEDD and Horses & Pony stories by Christine Pullein - Thompson which I didn't enjoy as it was a mystery book. Do you have any suggestions?
I have ten horses. And I would recommend Stay the Distance by Mara Dabrishus if you like YA contemporary at all. It's set around horse racing in New York.
I don't think I've been to Aiken. I want to though, for the horse stuff in the area. I am from near the NC border. Just south of Charlotte.
Like up there in Rock Hill or around that area? Aiken's pretty boring. You really don't here much about that horse stuff.
