Trelawney is close, but probably Umbridge.

Hagrid. I mean, I neither hate or love Hagrid, just that his character development in the last three books declines in quality and depth. It seems he is still there just for the sake of.

Umbridge for sure. I honestly cannot stand that women. She's my least favourite character/teacher out of anything I've read or seen or even experienced in my own life. And that's saying something. But yeah, I hate her.
Uggggg Rita Skeeter and Dolores Umbridge definitely. I get what why there is so much hate on the Percy but he's not the worst character(Lizzie you're right, he was a git tho XD)... in the end, he changed for the better I say give him a chance...
Kinda funny how no one even mentioned he who shall not be named.
Also, Lucius Malfoy? He is everything wrong with Draco, he is the one who made him suffer like this and be the guy he is. I hate him from the deep of my heart.
Aside from Voldemort, it would be Dolores Jane Umbridge! I hate her character. The next one is Bellatrix Lestrange! What a disgusting being!

I agree with Umbridge, but Snape? Nooo Snape was amazing Harry even had part of his child's name named after him.
I honestly didn't like Madame Maxime. Although I loved that Hagrid finally found someone to love, I thought she was just using Hagrid as a way for her school, to win.
Dolores Umbridge surpasses even Voldemort in her villainy, she is so terrible. Rowling herself said (*spoiler alert) the horcrux Umbridge wore had no effect on her, she was so bad, nor was she even put under the imperius curse when she served under Voldemort's reign at the ministry.
So pretty obvious ones Umbridge, Percy yeah yeah but the ones I'm going to say now I know people won't agree.Snape and Dumbledore.
Well for Snape I know he was humanized or turned into a hero at the end but I don't think it justifies bullying not only Harry but the whole Gryffindor house or people who aren't in Slytherin. Also, he doesn't play the role of a teacher. Teachers are supposed to care and nurture you but he makes students feel safe and scared. Dumbledore is very manipulative. He left a baby at the doorstep by itself, he's ambitious (not in a good way), he doesn't actually protect or takes care of Harry. I don't know I don't think he's all that he's cracked up to be. A genius? yes. Best wizard of this generation? Duh but as a character? douchebag.

I'd pick Dolores Umbridge but I also detest Bellatrix lestrange!
Becca wrote: "Snape. Most of the characters people listed were meant to be unlikeable but Snape was supposedly redeemed in the end and we were supposed to appreciate him but I still despised him."Yes fully agree. After the third book is when I truly despised him and made me wondered how this petty and despicable character is supposed to be "good" by the end of the series. Every time I read some comment saying how great Snape was as a character and had great character development I can't help but to roll my eyes.
And he only gets worse especially in book five and six. Sometimes I wished Voldemort or someone else killed him off earlier in the series. That's how much I hate him.
People I hated:1) Dolores Umbridge- she can jump off a cliff, for all I care.
2) Fudge- He can join Umbridge
3) Percy Wealsey- He pretty much disowned his family and may I emphasise, THE WEASLEY FAMILY! The best family ever!
This may be a controversial opinion but personally I really don't like James Potter, especially as a teenager when he was bullying Snape.
this is not in any particular order 1. voldemort this one doesn't need explaining he killed so many people i would be hear all day listing them
2. umbridge she was just cruel to everyone and she has no good personality traits
3. percy weasley he betrayed his family for a job
4. ron weasely. I know he had his heroic moments but he was moody a lot abandoned harry and hermione and didn't care about harry's safety i the goblet of fire for the first task the only thing that bothered him was that harry got picked and he didn't
5. lockhart he was obsessed with himself
Are people seriously choosing characters such as Fleur, Cho, and Percy over the likes Snape and Umbridge!? You guys are crazy.
None of them deserve the hate they get. I personally love Percy Weasley and I don’t get why people dislike him so much. He’s a lot like Hermione and fans love her so why not him? Cho and Fleur are a huge example of what’s wrong with this series. Rowling purposefully makes a point of Hermione and Ginny being better because they’re Not Like Other Girls. She acts like it’s bad to cry too much or be feminine and girly which causes Fleur and Cho to get bashed for having those traits. It’s not right at all and I hate that she portrayed girls this way.

People who don't like Kreacher must have stopped reading after book 6
Peter Pettigrew. As I understand it we have to chose the character we despise the most. Well I fet people like Voldemort, Umbridge and Bellatrix were necessary to the story and I liked the roles they played in the story. But Peter is just a horrible character that I absolutely utterly despise.
Priyamvada wrote: "Bellatrix and Umbridge, and yeah, Pansy Parkinson (what was she even in there for?)"I totally agree about Pansy. Like, why was she there???
