What are you reading in July?
I am almost finished listening to
. Today, I just reading
for a Buddy Read. I plan to foucs on finishing these two plus I also want to progress with
and
. We are also going see if our library has
as an audio book. We will see what happens.
@Caitlyn: Taht's a good list. I am probably most excited about getting to
and
sometime in the future.

Well I am heading the shore tomorrow and so got two books this morning from the library-
and
- trying to stay cold. Plus there are so many great Christmas books out there, not enough time in December to read them all.
My first two books of July will be by one of my favorite authors: Kim Vogel Sawyer.
I'm also looking forward to this one:

These will carry me into July:
No clue what I'll get to, but here's what is at the top of my pile:
I'll probably read something on my Kindle as well, but not sure yet what that will be, and I'll also be reading more YA titles for class. I also want to finish my current non-fiction and start another one, probably one of these:

Absolutely one to make time for!!!

Since July's monthly challenge is reading favorite genre and mine is historical romance, I am planning to read only historical romance for the whole of July.
Since my favorite genre is Regency, I'll be reading a lot of that, although I'll be reading some other stuff, too. I started
this morning. I love the cover. If I finish it, I'll also use it for "a book with a great cover" in a challenge at another group. I'll probably read a Georgette Heyer book and a Julie Klassen book.

Yes, I'm a little bit into it but I am listening to it and so left it behind at home because I'm on vacation with the family and didn't want to have ear-plugs in. It's kind of poetic while telling an on-going story at the same time so I thought it would be great to listen to it as the author reads it and I could hear her rhythm of reading so to speak. I picked it up because folks were talking about it over on the NF challenge thread. :)
@ Elizabeth - I LOVE that Age of Faith series by Tamara Leigh!! I hope you enjoy the last two books :)
Anne wrote: "@ Elizabeth - I LOVE that Age of Faith series by Tamara Leigh!! I hope you enjoy the last two books :)"I'd never read any Tamara Leigh before this year and now it looks like I might finish them all! I've loved the Age of Faith so far. I cannot wait to get to Sir Durand's tale.
Okay, I have the first book of Tamara Lee's series on my Kindle. It might be one that I squeeze in before the end of the summer.
Except for my book club books, which are not Christian fiction, I'm really not sure. I did start Run with the horses by Eugene Peterson today.
I plan to read the two CFD club books this month
and
I have several books checked out from the library to read:
and then 3 which are not Christian fiction
I hope to get these digital books read:
The following books are not marketed as Christian Fiction but they are clean. Some are written by Christian authors. I want to draw special attention to the Alora series (The Maladorn Scroll is book 3). While it is not a "Christian" series, the author Tamie Dearen wove an amazing amount of faith into the story anyways. It is a fantasy series and I recommend that Christians who like fantasy check it out.

How are you liking
, Chantel? It has been on my TBR list forever!
I need to finish
for the book bingo challenge (clean, but not Christian fiction), then it depends on the library basically.
is being processed for an interlibrary loan, so should be ready any day. May get to
which the library ordered at my request (thanks for the awesome review, Hannah :) ).
I'm not really sure what I am going to read in July, but I think it will be full of Christian contemporary.Currently reading:

Angie, have you read Beth Vogt? She has some of the best contemporaries out there! Kathryn Springer is another good one. Irene Hannon has some good ones as well.
I second the vote for Beth Vogt! I also really enjoy Kathryn Cushman and Cynthia Ruchti. Lynette Eason is great at contemporary suspense.
Thanks ladies! I will have to check out all those authors. I'm sure I have some of their books on my TBR! =)Love Lynette Eason and Irene Hannon! Romantic Suspense is probably one of my second favourite genres!!!
My favorite are
....um, maybe all of them? I like the novels best because I simply can't get enough of the characters, so even though the novellas are well-balanced, it just doesn't last long enough.
Cynthia Ruchti: I know Andrea gave the rec for her, but I have to add that I gave 4.5 stars to the one of hers I've read so far,
.Another great contemporary author is Camille Eide.
By the way, Lindsay Harrel's
is another fantastic contemporary fiction book, and it's on sale right now on Amazon Kindle. (Not sure about other retailers.)

I am not reading nearly as fast as I thought I was going to this month....=(
Angie H wrote: "...I am not reading nearly as fast as I thought I was going to this month....=("Same here. I've finished:
and
.I'll be reading Regencies on my kindle. I'll be listening to a variety of genres but not Regencies. I don't know if I'll read any paper books. I want to concentrate on Regencies for the July challenge, and I don't want to read more than one Regency at a time so I won't get the story mixed up with another.
I have a list a mile long that I would like to tackle. I would love to catch up with some of my favorite authors: Karen Kingsbury, Liz Curtis Higgs, and Francine Rivers. I have missed my time with them. I also need to read all of the recent Batman novels that my son has gotten from the library. It will be a busy, action packed, month for me! :)
