LOL Thanks, Sarah Grace. You know how much the misuse of that particular punctuation rule bothers me.
Sorry, I didn't update my challenge status until now because I've finished a couple of books this past week. :-)
I recently finished The Reluctant Godfather for the indie book, Shakespeare's Scribe for the 1600s book, and I'm currently reading A Fool and His Monet as by contemporary.
I'm still trying to find a book in the 1700s for the 1700s category. Can anyone give recommendations? I may or may not be able to read the books, though, because it depends on what my library has. :/

The easiest 1700's books are ones about the Revolutionary War- I like the Christian Heritage series Williamsburg Years (the first book: The Rebel). The one I read was Time Enough for Drums. Quick reads (because they're children's books) are the Meet Felicity: An American Girl series. (Hmm, two of those three are children's books. Hopefully you don't mind.)

Yep! Sure does! :)
Yep! Sure does! :)

FINISHED:
- A classic: The Thin Man
- A fantasy\sci-fi: Hammerhead
- A contemporary: Asking for Trouble
- An indie-published: Suit and Suitability
- A non-fiction: Keep a Quiet Heart
- 1901 to 2000: The Illusionist's Apprentice
- 1801 to 1900: The Courtship of Jo March: a variation of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women

I've read loads of books this summer, but contemporary ones.
I finished reading my contemporary, A Fool and His Monet, and I'm going to get Time Enough For Drums, the 1700s book, from the library today!!!

No worries! This is about having fun, not stressing about whether you will be able to finish or not. ;)

I still can too. I just don't want to read the books I have picked for certain categories right now. I think I only have two more to read? But I'm just not in the mood to read them, and now I'm not sure if I'll have time with school.
