E.R. Joy (bethielovesbooks) I read my first Stephen King book and yes was not the typical King book .....I loved the play on words...it was great to listen to (The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. Audible is my new best friend and I loved Turtles All the Way Down my John Green.

I didn't include The Complete Maus because it is a graphic novel, but it is the best book about the holocaust I've ever read!

*edited because other people have included honorable mentions, and I feel bad leaving out The Kite Runner It was so good!
