The One Key Word Challenge - June 2017
Haha yeah me too :p Especially this one, as it's so tricky!
But the good thing is that we can count books for words even if we read them before we receive the word. So it's good.

Yup.
Maddison wrote: "Oh wow! Are they all rushing medium? It'll be tricky for me then!"Yeah there are like 10 people in serious and everyone else is in medium and fun. :/
Jackie wrote: "What do you mean that it will be really tricky for you?"I think she just means there will be a lot more competition since she's in a medium team. :)

Yeah, I'm usually in serious but I have a set list of books I will be reading from and I'm not sure how many will fit. But planning will definitely be fun.

Yeah, I'..."
Planning is always fun. lol. :P
I'm also usually in serious but I've been a bit slumpy lately and I might be moving in June so I though I'd err on the side of caution. :)
Maddison wrote: "Yeah so many in medium this month."I just hope we don't get any more no shows. This month seemed particularly bad for all teams. :/
I agree. We've had one person pull out only 2 days ago and another person only read 1 book worth 2 points. So we only really have 3 people on the team.
That's horrible! I completely understand that life can get in the way sometimes, but the challenge is more than halfway done so I feel that there has been sufficient time for people to let their teams know if they cannot participate.
Maddison wrote: "I agree. We've had one person pull out only 2 days ago and another person only read 1 book worth 2 points. We just had all 5 check in, and then nothing for the first 2 weeks at least. We heard from Sarah that one of them pulled out after no participation at all, and the other one's still read just the 1 book. Medium's 8-12 books, not less than 8 :/

Dannii wrote: "Sorry if this has already been asked, but are subtitles allowed for non-fiction?"They said we could use subtitles for any genre.
Sarah, I can move to serious if you need me to. I'll probably will not read 10-12 books or whatever, but I'm still happy to move. Whatever you think is best. :)
Jamie wrote: "siobhan wrote: "If your stuck for someone for a serious or medium team i can fill a spot turns out i dont have a college thing all month id the wrong message lol so if your stuck to fill a spot fee..."yeah i have more free time now so ill do whatever :)
Yeah, I got some free time in early June to get a good chunk so figure I might be able to do more than I thought. The tricky part is that so much of how many books I can read depend on the categories chosen. I have been looking through my books trying to find some to cover most of the words but still...

In the case Sarah just gave the title of the book..."

That's my thoughts as well. I really like to plan these types of challenges so I always can't wait for the teams to be made lol. :)
