I'll discuss it with Abbie, but we don't usually do a solo option for this type of challenge as its difficult to work out how many key words to give a solo participant. I'll see what I can do ☺

Does the word have to be exact or can it be a plural or a different tense, such as Angels for Angel or Danced for Dance.

This is a team reading challenge which will take place from June 1st to June 30th. Results will be announced on July 1st.
This challenge will have a list of key words, and each team will be assigned 5 of these key words randomly at the beginning of the challenge. Each team must then read books which have one of their key words in the title.
For example, if your key word is 'Secret', then as a team you need to read 4 books with the word 'Secret' in the title, such as
(Any member of the team can read these descriptions even if they have already read a book which completes this same key word. There are also not any set books which need to be read, any book with the key word will count.)
Once 4 books have been completed for the key word, this category is completed, and the team will receive 10 bonus points. They will also be assigned a new category using random.org. (Teams may therefore be assigned the same key word more than once during the challenge.)
Each team will also receive 4 'passes' for if they get a key word that they really don't think they'll be able to complete. You only get 4 of these though so choose wisely ☺
Points:
*100 - 199 pages = 1 point
*200 - 299 pages = 2 points
*300 - 399 pages = 3 points
*400 - 499 pages = 4 points
*500 - 599 pages = 5 points
*600+ pages = 6 points
(maximum of 6 points per book)
*Buddy reads DOUBLE your points score, so a 300 page book + buddy read = 6 points. 600 page book + buddy read = 12 points. (Bonus points for buddy reads will only be given if the buddy read has taken place in our group.)
Rules:
* Books must feature the key word in the title, series name or author name to count
* This challenge will run from June 1st to June 30th, with results announced on July 1st.
* Books must be started in June to count for key words.
* Books must be at least 100 pages in length, 150 pages for middle grade books, and 300 pages for poetry books/books written in verse.
*Buddy reads must have a minimum of 4 comments to count.
*4 detailed updates can be used instead of a review.

* Manga, picture books, books with more pictures than words do not count. You may read non-fiction for this challenge, but if your book has mainly pictures, you will not be able to use it (eg: a cookery book which is mainly pictures would not count)
This challenge will be a team challenge. When signing up please let us know if you want to join a 'Serious' team (reading 12 books or more), a 'medium' team (reading 8-12 books) or a 'Just for fun' team (reading any number of books).
**Please only sign up for a team if you genuinely plan on taking part, as your team will lose out if you sign up and then do not participate**
