An assistant at the baths had fussed over my awkward attempts to cut my own hair. She had commandeered my scissors and proceeded to trim the ends, then had rolled my hair with hot metal tubes... - Magic Study
I'm really having a tough time with this one, without having to read a sappy romance, which is not my usual read...
Nevermind. See my next post.

"I'd forgotten how noisy hairdressers' salons were, the constant hum of dryers and inane chat, and positioned myself in the window seat, having donned a black nylon kimono which, I was alarmed to see, was already sprinkled with short hair clippings snipped from a previous client. I quickly brushed them off." -Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine
I'm not sure what page it is at the moment because I just searched for it in Google Books, but it's there. :D So looks like I'll be bumping this book up on my TBR. What's crazy is that I used to have it on my TBR and when I found this book in the contemporary section, I realized it wasn't on my TBR anymore! I recently did a big sweep, deleting a bunch of books, and I guess this one accidentally went in the Goodreads trash. LOL So it's back on there now.

There are 15 people on hold for 3 copies, so it will be a while before I read it. So *shrug* whatever I guess. But honestly I have so many books to read in October that fit the "Halloween" feel that I don't have time for books like this, really. LOL

And hey, if anyone else has a problem finding one, there ya go!

I just read the rules and there's a 150 page minimum in this challenge, so as long as the book meets that requirement.
