Just finished Cross Fire - James Patterson. It was a good book and I have a feeling he is going to put Women's Murder Club and Alex Cross series together soon.
This morning I started to read comin 2 gt u - Simon Packham.
THURSDAY
(WEEK ONE)
9.05pm
I'd only been in World 67 two hours when I realised they were going to murder me. A mini movie of my whole life flickered through my head and I cursed myself for letting them lead me into sucha a barren hellhole.

This morning I finished reading comin 2 gt u - Simon Packham. Was a good story and says alot about reality and cyber bullying. What kids are capable of nowadays is horrid. I'm now reading The Kites are Flying - Michael Morpurgo.
This morning I finished The Kites are Flying - Michael Morpurgo. Now I'm gonna read When Will There Be Good News - Kate Atkinson
I may seem like I am going fast with my reading but I've read some great books thus far and some YA's which always seem to move quickly but I think I hit a bump in the road because not only am I back at school but I am reading a clucker! Cutting for Stone is way passed 600 pages so let's see if I love it enough to move it forward!
I am reading The Confession by John Grisham, which is the first library book I have loaded onto my Nook. I love it!I am also starting Virals by Kathy Reichs
I'm currently reading Room and The Secret Life of Bees. Last night I started Mistress Shakespeare. All are good so far.

I just finished Drums of Autumn, I didn't like it as much as Voyager but it was good. I'll get the next one in the series and start it next week. Also about to start The Icebound Land, which I am reading with my 9 year old son.
Also just got the email to let me know A Letter of Mary is waiting for me at the library so I'll pick that up next week and start it as well. It is the third one in the Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes series by Laurie King.
I never made it to the library to pick up my book. I hope it can wait there until Thjursday when it is open later and I can get it after work!
I am going to be reading The Distant Hoursand Gracelingthis week I can't decide which one to start first:)

I am reading: Nook: The Confession by John Grisham - Jan, I would still like to discuss this one if you get a chance to read it soon.
Fiction: Hidden Wives by Claire Avery
Non-Fiction: Dead Reckoning: The New Science of Catching Killers by Michael Baden

Well I would read Graceling first given that itis a YA and may go quicker. But Kate Morto's book will probably be great and may just go ask quick too but I think it is a bit thivker than Graceling sooo....????

Of course I forgot my book at work and so I needed something for my commute in to work so I picked up my small copy of Memories of My Melancholy Whores. It is only aboput 128 pages so it shouldn't tak too long!
I finished Distant Hours and Graceling so now I reading Home is beyond the Mountains.(No link) It's a new children's book based on the Turkish invasion of Iran and the genocide of the Assyrian and Armenians in 1919. It's one of the historial events that I don't know very much about and am looking forward to reading more about it.
I have been so utterly exhausted lately that even picking up a book is too much wokr. I have goten no reading done! I hate this weather!!!!
Sorry to hear that Donna. Hope it slows down soon. I am starting The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins today.
Oh, no! Could it be the flu! February is the worse month of the year for catching the flu. Hope not ...either way take care of yourself.
Just finished A Letter of Mary, I was a little disappointed. I didn't enjoy it as much as A Monstrous Regiment of Women, but it was still good. Started The Fiery Cross and will be working on that for a while. The Hunger Games trilogy is great, I finished Mockingjay in January, definitely on my list of favorites from last year.
I just started Asleep by Molly Caldwell Crosby, it's about sleeping sickness. So far very interesting.
Katie I agree The Hunger Games (series) is very good and I've passed my books onto 4 other family and friends. Easy read
I am still reading Cutting for Stone but I am gonna throw in some fluff! Finishing out the series with Absolutely, Positively!
Thanks Christy I thought Hunger Games were some of the best highly hyped books I had read in a while. I am reading The Storyteller of Marrakesh a book I picker up randomly at the library we'll see if it's any good. I now have 5 books from the library to read I hope I finish them before they are due will see.
Katie, Sounds like you have your work cut out for you :-) Better get reading! I just started "The Book Thief" today.
Hi everyone, looking forward to being part of your group. I've looked at the last 2 pages of posts and see that I have a lot of books in common with you: Cutting For Stone (TBR), Room (read, and really enjoyed) and currently I am reading (and loving) The Kitchen House.
reading Babydoll right now. I got it for free at Borders a couple of weeks ago and I am surprisingly into it. Book, in short, a sex therapist is trying to help get her BFF's bro out of jail by trying to prove he was set up for 3 murders by a 1990's old porno copy cat killer - lol. Takes place in NY and even brings up Far Rockaway in a part.
I just finished The Book Thief now I'm on to the next read. I think I'm going to read Still Alice recommended to me by a couple of friends. The Book Thief was good but Nazi Germany is a hard subject for me to read about, it's just so sad.
Megan, I have to get it now just to hear Far Rock LOL.
Christy, I loved that book. It was a 5 star read for me. As for Still Alice, I have it and will get to it eventaully. I am so far behind in my readings....
