This morning I started to read comin 2 gt u - Simon Packham.

THURSDAY

(WEEK ONE)

9.05pm

I'd only been in World 67 two hours when I realised they were going to murder me. A mini movie of my whole life flickered through my head and I cursed myself for letting them lead me into sucha a barren hellhole.

Well I would read Graceling first given that itis a YA and may go quicker. But Kate Morto's book will probably be great and may just go ask quick too but I think it is a bit thivker than Graceling sooo....????

Of course I forgot my book at work and so I needed something for my commute in to work so I picked up my small copy of Memories of My Melancholy Whores. It is only aboput 128 pages so it shouldn't tak too long!

message 1180: by Katie (new)

Katie Russell | 140 comments I finished Distant Hours and Graceling so now I reading Home is beyond the Mountains.(No link) It's a new children's book based on the Turkish invasion of Iran and the genocide of the Assyrian and Armenians in 1919. It's one of the historial events that I don't know very much about and am looking forward to reading more about it.

Katie Russell | 140 comments Enjoy Hunger Games it was one of my favorites from last year.

message 1186: by Lori (new)

Lori | 48 comments Just finished A Letter of Mary, I was a little disappointed. I didn't enjoy it as much as A Monstrous Regiment of Women, but it was still good. Started The Fiery Cross and will be working on that for a while. The Hunger Games trilogy is great, I finished Mockingjay in January, definitely on my list of favorites from last year.

I'm awesoMEGAN! (missesmh) | 161 comments reading Babydoll right now. I got it for free at Borders a couple of weeks ago and I am surprisingly into it. Book, in short, a sex therapist is trying to help get her BFF's bro out of jail by trying to prove he was set up for 3 murders by a 1990's old porno copy cat killer - lol. Takes place in NY and even brings up Far Rockaway in a part.

message 1199: by Christy (new)

Christy | 86 comments I just finished The Book Thief now I'm on to the next read. I think I'm going to read Still Alice recommended to me by a couple of friends. The Book Thief was good but Nazi Germany is a hard subject for me to read about, it's just so sad.
