message 2: by Lynne (new)

Lynne Stringer | 117 comments I am an author and the book of mine that sells best is my debut novel, The Heir, the first book in the Verindon trilogy. I wouldn't say it's a big seller, but it's the best I've got. :-)

I would write a book about a rich spoiled mean girl who gets uprooted from her urban luxurious life to an old farm (which was quite memorable to her late mother). She meets a guy as tough as she is. At first, she gets furious but, gradually, she learns to love the place (and the guy). But she denies this until a tragedy happens that brings the guy to a near-death experience. AND THEY BOTH DIE. THE END!

LOL.

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

Sheesh. I'm not planning to write something that sad. I just haven't figured out how the ending would go.

message 5: by Lottie (new)

Lottie Berinson | 120 comments Wow. That's exciting but the ending... I would read it, it actually sounds pretty good.

message 6: by Imogen (new)

Imogen Reeves (purplegems3) I would write a book like Fangirl or Geekerella where someone who spends their life online until they go to a convention or college or someone in their family dies and having to deal with that + their online life

*pokes head into discussion*
I'm actually writing a novel right now. It's set in the future after a nuclear war; the main character is a mutant, so his family abuses him a lot. There's more to it than that, of course, but I'm not going into detail here.

Mila (mariber) | 131 comments I'm also trying to write a novel it's about a girl and a boy ( I know, I'm so original) and the whole book happens in the Underworld until the last chapter and basically she's trying to escape

There is another I wanna write soon about a boy who’s father was in a resistance and as punishment the boy is sent to work in a deadly and cruel factory where he meets a girl who is forced to work there for some reason 😂lol haven’t got that one thought through yet...

If I could write a novel (which I am trying to do, with a friend) It would be about... A mars future fantasy BUT with magic AND a love plot AND interplanetary travel AND allusions and references to just about every book I've read.

Simon Ilincev (simonilincev) | 5 comments Hi guys,

I am Simon Ilincev, and I wrote a fantasy/alternate fairy tale book, so there is no need to imagine what I would write. I'm a kid too - that's what attracted me here; I'm thirteen right now.

PLEASE check out my book, find it here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T78B27H/. It's for only $3.99 and you would be supporting a fellow teen reader and writer (and don't worry, the book won't disappoint)!

Thanks!

Madeleine | 31 comments I would definitely write a book a little bit about my life and real life, but give the characters different names, and it would be a YA novel. After or before that, I would also definitely try to write a fantasy/fiction novel or series, but it would never in the history of ever be as good as Six of Crows, Crooked Kingdom, and The Cruel Prince, The Wicked King, The Queen of Nothing. Highly recommend those book series and also these series, Clockwork Angel, and City of Bones.

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

If I wrote a book, the genre would be YA romance. It would be about a 16 year old girl and she likes 2 (possibly even 3) and they all like her back. Her parents split up when she was in second grade so since then she goes to two different school (I'm not sure if that happens IRL..) She likes one boy from each school. And then when she sees her childhood friend (after running away from home..kinda) and starts to have feelings for him but he has a girlfriend!! (Little does she know he likes her too) Then she gets asked to be both boys' Valentines (at the same time) and she has to choose between 2 boys she really likes.
Lol that was very descriptive sorry

message 31: by Brooke (new)

Brooke Lewis | 23 comments I’d write a biography about presidents or a realistic fiction book or maybe a book about my childhood or my family’s stories or something like that because I think that they’d be interesting to tell and I think that people would love reading them.

message 32: by Felicity (new)

Felicity Abbott | 8 comments Hi all! I don't have to imagine! I've written a book about what real friendship is and how to deal with bullying. The main character Lacy is a 15 year old girl dealing with the mean girls at school. She is sad and lonely because her friends left for another school. Will Lacy find the courage to stand up to the bullies? Will she be able to save the new girl before it's too late? Will she figure out the mystery of who is framing her? Sorry, Bestie

kelsie (taylor's version) if I actually had the motivation, it would definitely have feminist vibes, and probably based around climate change, to bring awareness to the feminism movement and awareness for climate change.

message 34: by Matty Bebopper (new)

Matty Bebopper This is tough, maybe kids historical fiction WWII?

message 35: by Danny (new)

Danny | 8 comments I've bwen thinking about this a lot recently and I'm not quite sure. I think it would probably be some low fantasy and urban fantasy, with many queer characters as that's very relatable for me.

message 36: by Arii (new)

Arii | 19 comments Maybe Murder Mystery. A sort of like who done it type.

message 37: by Hamilton (new)

Hamilton Hill | 8 comments I'm currently writing a fantasy novel based in a world known as Mythoria. It's a time hoppers adventure with the main character, Lorelei, her dog Max and her best friend, Oliver have to solve a puzzle that started somewhere in the past. As usual, I'm looking for beta readers.

message 38: by Arii (new)

Arii | 19 comments Right now I'm writing about a murder mystery. That one girl was murdered a halloween dance and so far, nobody can find out who it is because of the killer's costume had a mask.

message 39: by Jeannie (new)

Jeannie | 3 comments I'm writing one right now! I have no idea what genre it is within the form, but I know it's either a novella or a long short story.

I'd like to think it's all the best parts of Stephen King mixed with me. But I suppose that's what many, many writers would like! Ha!

message 40: by ray ౨ৎ (new)

ray ౨ৎ Something dystopian with a romance subplot.
